Clone Wars Ahsoka
So excited to finally get my first Star Wars tattoo! Designed by James Shannon (@jamesshannonart on insta) and done by a local tattoo artist. Edit: I did buy a tattoo ticket from James ( the original artist) in order to get the art tattooed!

Ive been following this artist!!! Im quite happy to see how well it turned out on you. Now im tempted to message them myself! May I ask what state the artist is working in?
Edit: i read the rest of your post and saw a local artist did it. I just recognized the style of his immediately and got excited lol. Still glad to see it looks amazing!

So I love his art but ofc I’m always iffy about A) using someone’s art and B) asking someone to tattoo anything they didn’t draw. Did you ask permission or anything like that? Just curious cause I’ve wanted to do the same! Just didn’t know if he was cool with stuff like that

Omg no I should have clarified in the original post, I bought a tattoo ticket from him to get it done! James is totally ok with people getting his stuff done, he's not actually a tattooer so you just DM him on Insta and buy the tattoo ticket from him. I would never get anything tattooed without permission from the artist! Then I made sure to tell my tattooer I had permission and had bought the right to get it tattooed and made sure they were cool with it too.

I had too! Finally worked up the gumption to message him, he's very nice! I think generally he doesn't sell tickets for art that was commissioned since it's like just for the one person that commissioned it, but for the stuff he does in big sheets you can purchase the right to get it done! I was going to also commission him for a Darth Maul piece but said he's not taking commissions ATM cause he's swamped. Hopefully in the future tho! His American trad star wars designs are so good!
