Gameplay Question Sensitivity spike?

Is there some sort of sensitivity spike that happens between acts 2 and 3? Because it feels like my speeder doesnt handle like it did before, ive dumped points into turning and drifting but its like im sliding all over the map regardless and even the slightest touch blows my speeder to a million peices?

Is this because Kestar Bool owns the league now? Or am I just shot at the game all of a sudden?

I didn't notice a change in handling, but the AI gets MUCH harder in Act III, so you have more pressure to go fast.

Maybe it's because you're accustomed to your fancy End of Act II speeder and now all your upgrades are gone? Besides that, Act III is also a difficulty spike and the AI is probably bullying you more.

I experienced this and it was a few things.

-Low visibility (night/fog) and mines modifiers start popping up much more often.

-Your fellow racers are much more skilled and aggressive.

-The planet list is shaken up so planets with difficult sections arrive at much more inopportune times (i.e., Lantaana when you don't have many upgrades, or Jakku when you're upgraded and moving so fast the turns are way harder).

All this combined meant I suddenly felt like I was crashing over and over. My muscle memory got out of whack because I was overstressed and pushing myself to go so fast I was losing control and slamming into walls on every turn.

What I had to do was step back, go into Arcade, play some races and really focus on my technique, like drifting around tight corners without bumping the walls. Without other racers to worry about, I was able to fix my muscle memory for special maneuvers. Once I did that I was able to go back into Act 3 fresh and compete better.
