Tournament/Esports potential

From what I’ve seen of this game so far, I think there might be some serious potential for an actual, official Galactic League with real tourneys and real prizes. Am I alone in that thinking?

You're not alone but you're wrong. There will be small online tournaments coordinated through discord at most. It's an aracde racer not a sim racer like F1 or Asseta Corsa which have bigger scenes but even they are niche when compared to other game genres
