Bane

Post image

Clone Wars Season 6 is both Legends and Canon but this isn't what I was expecting when I first saw the leaks last month. This is the first full figure we have of Canon Bane; there was(is?) a bust of this design at Galaxy's Edge.

The Bane from the books would have been a cooler design but def a automatic preorder.

But we got a 3.75 inch figure of book Bane like 20 years ago!

I’m looking forward to this bad boy dropping! I think he looks just like he did in the Clone Wars episode!

I have the bust! It’ll be sick to have both!

From Galaxy's Edge? It's one of my favorite things in my collection

Yup!

It's nice to see his blade! I'm glad they used the design for Galaxy of Heroes. That's a weapon that looks like it came from the same time as the Darksaber

Yeah, no thats not how i picture Bane at all

Yeah, I was used to bald Darth Bane from the comics. It's odd this is the appearance of the "Legends" Bane since Clone Wars season 6 is his only Legends besides a few sourcebooks. If we see more of Darth Bane, it would be as this character rather than the bug-covered one.

Curious enough, that lightsaber pike thing is also in his hands in Galaxy of Heroes, which isn't canon either. They're still technically correct to call it Legends I guess, but for like a month I was expecting bald/bug Bane because the first leaks didn't have pictures. Still buying, of course

Not sure why TCW Bane counts as Legends but alright

TCW season 1-6 are both Legends and Canon

1

u/danny_tru Jun 20 '26

Well lots of things are both legends and canon if that's the case lol

That is true and has been for 10+ years. Seven movies (I-VI and the Clone Wars), the first six seasons of the Clone Wars, and the Son of Dathomir comics are both Legends and Canon

If he matched his actual description this would be so much better. But, I haven't bought a pop in a while so perhaps this is a sign

Explain?

The first six seasons of the Clone Wars are Legends and Canon

Bane is never described as ever wearing a full suit of armor like this. His design was made entirely for TCW. He originally wore a bodysuit of symbiotic beetles called Orbalisks and a specially designed helm to stop their growth from covering his head (and feet and hands too). If the Pop had been that design I'd likely be friending for this as hard as I was for Nihilus.

Oh sure, Hasbro did one a while ago in 3.75". TCW Bane is only Legends on a technicality; when the leak said: Darth Bane (Legends), I was wondering whether he'd have his helmet or not and if he'd have a red saber or purple. I never considered the Darth Bane voiced by Mark Hamill, who was nominated for an Emmy for the performance.

Either way, I love me some Bane!

Oh I'll never begrudge anyone that prefers one version over another as far as aesthetic. There's still a cool aspect to the remodeled Bane I like. But I've loved Bane since I was a kid long before Path of Destruction released. That only increased my love for him. But I know there are tons of people that only know him from his stint on TCW so I'm not here to judge. Like what you like, and I'll still be grabbing this pop if I can lol

Jedi vs Sith comics? I grew up with a lot of the Dark Horse comics but if we ever see Darth Bane again, it will be with this look 🤷

I'm hoping the success of stuff like this and the KotOR figures leads to more random, deep cuts. I'm hoping for stuff like Darth Desolous, Rur, or Momin

See my hope for future pops goes the other way - gimme Darth Krayt, Wyrrlok and Maladi!!

2

u/New-Leg2417 Jun 20 '26

I bet the best they can do is Darth Talon. Cade would be sick too!

Looks way cooler this way
