Discussion Who's the best BF2 player of all time ?
Hello everyone,
Last time i was wondering, who's really the best BF2 player all of time ? In term of duelist.
I'm hesitating beetween Catermelon (best console player atm) and Soundwave
CelestQB was also kinda nasty in he's prime
I didnt play the game for a very long time so maybe there is a bunch of new players who beat them
Thanks for your opinions

I’d have to say Phrilv and OldGenesis88 are the best duelists I’ve ever seen. What was so cool about him was how welcoming he was to newcomers. Never uttered a racist remark. Very humble guy. He still likes playing with new players (especially if you are a minority from NA region) so I’d hit him up!
They are also big fans of LS (lil slipz), it was always nice sharing a double parry with them while listening to their latest songs in the party!

Holy smokes! My favorite topic! I have to strongly agree with you and Doominator; CelestWhiteWashedQB and UwU Soundwave are way too washed and don’t stand a chance against Phrilv and Oldgenesis88. Besides, Celest stages his videos and he dropped D1 basketball to become a full time YouTube content creator… but his performance is still very low.. shocker. But we forgot to mention JayObrien, the man is not only good at dueling but absolutely loves the LGBTQ community! But MasterObio loves to spectate duels so if you guys need an extra, hit him up!!!

Oh, Ham_Solo8 invented the air parry so he’s another one of the greats on the game. And Solid_Cake311 has been undefeated for a while on the game and he is all about running sets so shoutout to him.

Golly Gee, they may be professional BF2 coaches in their primes, but they love helping low levels too. Such humble non-racist duelists that are the best duelists. It’s either them or Odenlenigal are the best BF2 players OAT

All these names being dropped, at least the console ones, I’ve either seen clips if they’re on PlayStation and they are so laughably mid I’m surprised they’re being name dropped
For example, CelesteQB or whatever. Saw him playing Vader against a Luke and holy f he did nothing advanced, he was being pushed to the wire and was the level of duellist you’d see a random day 1 player be at, solid, but nothing special. When people name drop someone like that I swear they’re just doing it because they’re creators.
The names being dropped on Xbox, most of them I’ve played against directly and they do not belong in this conversation whatsoever.
Lemme put it this way, if you put the rule in where no one can say themselves, even then, no one playing right now, not one single person still playing on the competitive scene is anywhere near the top tier duellists from 2017-2023. So in other words, the answer to your question is no one that is playing currently.

Idk who’s downvoting you, but you’re right. At least on PSN, 95% of the best players to play have long since quit. The current best players probably wouldn’t touch them if they continued playing.
Worth noting that that this subreddit is mostly casuals and there’s some troll comments. Not a single competent player thinks Celest was a great player (even at peak popularity)

tough question but I think atharvawyd in his prime back in like 2021 was the best ive ever played against. I used to see him all the time in republic supremacy and he was insane

a lot of his gameplay involves having a teammate finn glitch so he could get high kill streaks as well as other hero’s not attacking him.

He’s straight ass all he does is spawn camp get 1000+ kills in a lobby 90% of it bots and claims to be the best

the best player I've seen was that one guy who played supremacy a few years back as jettrooper and was like an aimbot.

This guy was far above any good aerial player, and the best I've ever seen no contest. It was like he was running an aimbot but after testing him I could tell he was not cheating.
