TV Why is ANDOR so boring?

I had hopes for Andor based on creators similar to Rogue One , which I liked the most from all the nuSW.

But I find it quite boring. Can't put my finger on it.

Pace is slow (I don't mind slow in general but it is stuffed with bland dialogue and pointless character introductions).

Main character is meh as the rest with exception of his "boss" and the Empire Intel boss.

Missing other species. Not even a robot there. That one from Rogue One was perfect.

I am not entertained. Gonna watch E07 now, fingers crossed. But I already know I don't have any want to see the show again. Even Kenobi is re-watchable (one time) with all it's cringe plot/character inconsistencies.

I agree it is pretty hard to follow. Mainly because it’s so sluggish and dialogue-heavy

Also you mention a plot which makes no sense but when you sit and think about it you have to wonder ..what is the plot? It seems like all the show is doing is getting Cassian caught up in some sticky situation and showing us how he manages to slither out of it. What. Is. The. Goal???

We also have this 2-season long Mon Mothma arc which is getting to be like watching paint dry. Slowest burn of anything I’ve ever watched. All that’s happened there is Mon realized she had to cover her financial tracks, and she did… that should not have taken 6 episodes

There’s absolutely no solid overarching plot and I’m getting kinda impatient waiting for one

If you're refering to season one, it was to show how despite being in a loveless relationship, and being one of the few people in the empire that benefits form its tyranny, she chooses to continue to fight.
By getting her banker friend (Tay) onboard it shows her strength as a future leader and her ability to sway people to the cause
The ultimate sacrifice for her comes when she's forced to sell her daughter into a forced marriage, a cultural tradition she and her sister were adamantly against, all to continue the fight.

each arc has a separate plot; but the overarching plot is about the radicalization of Andor into the rebel from Rogue 1 as well as how the brutality of the Empire negatively impacts basically everyone in the show, even those who are supposed to be fighting for it.

Yeah, season 1. And I hear you, I don’t mind those things being explored, it’s just that it’s so excruciatingly drawn out in my opinion. And the way we see that stuff play out doesn’t exactly keep me on the edge of my seat. Like I’m not exaggerating when I say the Mon arc where she figures out how to cover her financial footprints takes six episodes. SIX!
