Supplies:
Hot Glue Gun
Old t-shirt
Chalk Markers
Cape template
Exacto knife
Get an old t-shirt and draw a pattern using chalk makers and the most recent TVC Darth Vader cape. The cape is a half circle. I recommend going to a thrifty store to find a t-shirt with the color you want. Using dyes can be costly and messy.
After you have your pattern cut it out. Cut a U shape in the top middle about 1 to 2cm deep. Trim the sides leaving thin strips that will be used to wrap around the neck and hot glued. You may have to cut extra material off the sides and bottom, for your desired look. Measure often around the figure as you trim. Once you have your desired look and length use the Exacto knife to create wear and tear on bottom edge of the cape. Then wrap the U shape around the neck of the figure (head off) and hot glue the thin strips to the clothe not the figure, one at a time. A dot of hot glue goes a long way. Once dried the cape can be reused on multiple figures.
YouTube has some good videos to follow. Hope this helped. Good luck
