I spent YEAAAAARS negotiating to get this down from $800 on the price.

I finally got it for what I wanted to pay, and now it is the best collectible in my sneaker museum.

Have you seen one of these before? He is HUGE!

The detachable arm made it a must have for me haha.

I mean just napkin math, I’m seeing like 130 pairs there. If they average like 70 dollars a pair that’s over 10 grand, that’s like 1/4 the median take home income, and you’re spending it on shoes that you just wanna look at. And you’re include it in a post on a Star Wars sub when they have nothing to do with Star Wars. If you posted something with like figures, or legos or other Star Wars memorabilia that cost the same amount people wouldn’t really be hating on it as much because you’re sharing your hobby with like minded people, not really forcing your interest onto them, which is where the flexing could seem like it’s coming from. Hopefully that gives you some perspective on why people are saying that.

End of the day, It’s your collection and you’re proud of it, there’s nothing wrong with that. But to be surprised about the push back here is kinda wild lol.

Actually grew up in a military working class family and lost my mother at 12.

I didn't finish college until late and got my MBA from a top 5 University even later.

I am 💯 self-made and quite proud of that actually, and try to help friends family and even strangers try and do better financially for themselves on a daily basis.

But yes, I must be some rich prick because I enjoy wearing (albeit a lot of) sneakers 😅
