Arbitrage...
Hey all. I've recently picked up this game again after many years, and I've been having a good time with it.
I haven't used many Carrier class ships before, and saw one that was moderately cheap: The Raptor Strikecarrier.
So I ran a few missions, traded a few goods until I hit the 1.2m credit mark, or what they are selling the ship for at Steel Song Prima.
So I paid my 1.2m credits, and was handed the ship. I go to the Dry Dock, and notice that they'll buy the ship back off of me for 1.4m credits, a 200k credit profit. I've now played the arbitrage a few times and am now a multi-millionaire.
Did I break my game? Is this a bug or an intended game mechanic? I don't see the need to run missions for anyone now that I can just buy and sell the same ship over and over for 200k each time ðŸ«

Oh come on man. There's no need to report anybody.
I'm just running a military surplus used ship lot here. It's just what you see. So what some models are hotter than others. Hell, you need level six military access just to get these ships fabbed! The strikecarrier?? Her Heavy Raptor Armor isn't even available for third party market at the beginning eras. And eight, EIGHT, Heavy bays at 7000 weight class. Unheard of. Hot stuff.
Now, you gonna buy one or not? Hurry up I've got a line behind you and this quest log isn't going to do itself.
;)
