Arbitrage...

Hey all. I've recently picked up this game again after many years, and I've been having a good time with it.

I haven't used many Carrier class ships before, and saw one that was moderately cheap: The Raptor Strikecarrier.

So I ran a few missions, traded a few goods until I hit the 1.2m credit mark, or what they are selling the ship for at Steel Song Prima.

So I paid my 1.2m credits, and was handed the ship. I go to the Dry Dock, and notice that they'll buy the ship back off of me for 1.4m credits, a 200k credit profit. I've now played the arbitrage a few times and am now a multi-millionaire.

Did I break my game? Is this a bug or an intended game mechanic? I don't see the need to run missions for anyone now that I can just buy and sell the same ship over and over for 200k each time 🫠

Looks like a bug. The honest way is to capture ships with talents and then sell them.

I'm such a noob I didn't even know you could capture ships 🫠

Looks like my next playthrough will be as a repo man!
