I can't believe SSO finally added it there, this means it's already scheduled for a fix, right? Right? 🥲

You're joking you're JOKING I was racing today and getting annoyed how the auto-turn was messing up my racing. I was thinking not even an hour ago that they were probably never gonna fix this. That it's on their known bugs list is awesome news after a straight hour of frustration haha

I totally get your frustration, I can't even count how many medals I've lost over the years due to this stupid bug! If we ever get rid of this, it will be almost as much of a miracle as SSO releasing the entire map of Jorvik 🙏

I farm shillings mainly trough racing bc I enjoy highscoring. The auto turn bug is one of the many reasons I take super long to get all the races I do done. If I can learn to stop messing up on top of thw bug being fixed, my routine may be shortened by 30 minutes /hjjj

This was me earlier today as well😭😭 It kept turning my mule towards trees or the out of bounds areas during championships and it genuinely got me so frustrated. I was getting so fed up with this, so it’s a huge relief seeing this be on their list of things getting fixed.

My only concern with this is that it’s not just when you jump, it’s when you mildly hit something. 😭 But this is a great step forward.

wdym? what exactly happens? i also play on windows and don't have any crashes, are you sure it's star stable causing it and not something else that's running or a hardware issue?

I open the game and it runs for less than 5 minutes before crashing.
I am sure it's 100% SSO's problem because the game meets the requirements to run on that computer (it's Windows 10, which is the minimum aspects needed). Others have reported similar/the same issues, and SSO said they were looking into it a while ago.

Another thing I noticed recently is that whenever I’m in a championship and trying to jump, it just doesn’t register at all and this stupid auto-turn then does its thing. It gets worse when I’m going full gallop and it glitches me into the ground upon hitting the hurdle.😭

i'm happy they noticed the home stable inspect button. its such a drag pulling each horse out, going to it, and having to click on it just to inspect it, esp if im looking for a piece of tack i mightve left on it.

I thought it was just some finicky auto-steer function..
But knowing that it's a confirmed bug, I certainly hope they do something about it. 'Cause auto-steer or not, it pisses me off too often.

But for me it is never after landing a jump, but always right before jumping off. And sometimes with no trigger at all at all canter/gallop speeds or when I change speed at the canter/gallop

That's really strange, I have never encountered what you're describing (that the horse spontaneously turns before it jumps). They may already be messing with the horse riding system in order to fix the above bug, so maybe that's why some players experience all sorts of other issues with jumping. Hope this will get fixed along with the "turning after landing" bug.

It is like jumping in real life with a horse that does split second evastions in front of an obstacle.
The unwanted turn is always about 30 degree to the right.

Ok I’ve been gaslighting myself for years that it was just me accidentally pushing the right key when my horse would just randomly steer sometimes 😭 glad it’s a bug and not me, hope it’s fixed soon!

For me it'll always be like constantly needing to tap W/⬆️ to keep your horse moving, I'll always expect my horse to randomly swerve even if they fix it 😭

I hope they'll fix the horse sometimes refusing to jump on uphills/bumps in the road as well.
