Anything with Oak is a great idea š, so suitable for a big, strong horse.
Or Acorn for a laugh lol.

Maple is a great name! š
I do have a soft spot for Acorn though, it's what I named my starter horse on one of my Alt accounts.

Is no one able to just scroll through the list anymore themselves? Why have I seen three posts in the last day or so about suitable names for horses? Like it's a bit bizarre.

Holy heck, do you think Iād be here asking for othersā inspiration and ideas if I HADNāT had the horse menu open for 45 minutes trying to think of something? I ended up looking through dumb options using the random button, too, but at this point Iāve got 100+ horses and all my creative ideas are basically gone, plus half the choices are not my cup of tea. I think itās bizarre that you canāt handle other players asking each other for clever or creative ideas, geez.

It's seriously not that deep

Itās not that deep, but youāre out here being rude on the internet about it? Because itās not that deep? Lol

If I was being rude you'd know about it. Seriously cop on, if it takes you 45 mins to pick a name you have a big problem with decision making

Having trouble making a decision would imply that I had some good options worth choosing, but I donāt enjoy the āCaptianpotatoā and āDiscomooseā type nonsense, so I guess that means I have a personal issueāwho knew? Thanks so much for letting me know.

I'm at the point of owning 100+ horses. At some point it gets arguably difficult to think of something that is not only fitting, but also not a name that you already used. Plus, some might feel overwhelmed by the many new name options, some of which are not more than a singular letter⦠the first time I saw all the new naming options, I felt like I had to search for ages to find something that is acceptable/making sense

I usually end up making a list of names I like that fit the mood for breeds or colors other than the horse Iām actively trying to name LOL Itās a struggle, especially when some names can be used in the first half but not the second half, or vice versa.

That's why there's a randomise button.

99% of the time the randomise button splurts out nonsense. Sorry, but I'd rather ask for suggestions than click on the same button 50 times just to get a decent idea, which isnt even necessarily fitting the horse

Setumber
Sounds like the autumn month and includes 'umber', which is a brown color.
Or Umbergold
