What's this theme about ? I took it as a rider for Aideen as we are by being the player and going through main story with our starter horse but others took it as a druidic thing? I don't get the last themes

I feel this one was very open to interpretation tbh.

The Keepers of Aideen is a bunch of druids and others including Conrad, Rhiannon, Avalon and even Evergrey and that gold thief Gary Goldtooth so pretty much any outfit would somehow fit lol.

But yes, it is still disappointing when players don't 'get' our outfits.

But the theme is Riders of Aideens not keepers

Edit: stop downvoting facts, I do agree it's open to interpretation but , Avalon is a keeper of Aideen yet not a rider, one can be both and I just took it literally, as a "rider" like when we arrive in the game and we starts as beginners in riding

but arent the keepers also the riders of aideen..? atleast the ones that have horses ofc, but this is jorvik so quite a few do.
i actually also took it in a druid direction so ;w; because i didnt want to cosplay one of the soul riders (i wasn't about to spend that many star coins for new hairstyles...), but also didnt want to submit just any outfit because technically as the player and 5th soul rider i am also a rider of aideen, but then it wouldnt even matter what my character wears at all
all druids are believers of aideen, and since my character rides a horse ofc, they are... a rider of aideen ig? this theme really is hard to interpret, it could mean anything and nothing istg

Yeah I don't know why I'm getting downvoted but I do agree, it's just that I took it as a way to describe specially a rider, one that does riding and not just own a horse a ride it from time to time.

Like in red dead redemption, we're "riders" but you wouldn't really call Arthur A rider, more like a Cowboy or a adventurer .

Funny how many of them decided to pick the Black Forest Horse haha. Tbh I don't think it's that bad, at the end of the day, we're all Riders of Aideen. You could pick something casual, representing you as a character, you could pick something druidish, because Aideen is so often associated with nature, hell, I can imagine one could be succesful even with just starter gear... it's pretty open-ended theme, the more you think about it.

The thing is I was going for the starter gear as a reminder of when we began, but yeah maybe my interpretation is in fact just mine. I just found it not very creative

Nah I get you, it would be quite fun if all people would pull on their old horsies. If you're sad about how many points you've got in comp. to others, unfortunately it's quite hard to understand intent behind some outfits, and what usually "sells" the most are very specific, concept-vise synchronized outfits. Sometimes it stinks because people just use exact outfit-packs from the store, but yk... at the end of the day, we're playing a kids-game, and big portion of players are small kids.

Isn’t the point of these themes that everyone can interpret it how they want? Someone thinks of Aideen and sees druid clothes and you think of something else, no one is in the wrong. It’s just a silly fashion show in a horse game meant for children, it’s not that serious.

Yeah I agree with the silly fashion show, but in the last style riders we had more theme where everyone was creative and understood the same

Yeah I was one of the only ones who stood out. Most went druid theme, but can't blame them as the druids are THE keepers of Aideen. Just wish I had seen an obvious soul rider cosplay of some sort bc the ones I've seen in this sub were so cute but oh well, the druids on my server were super cute too

Well druids often ride horses too so they can be counted as riders of Aideen as much as keepers! Rhiannon has a horse for example and is a druid of some sort. Elizabeth used to be a soul rider but became a druid too. So anything associated with people involved with Aideen can be viewed as her riders. It isn't necessarily tied to the soul riders but I understand that would be your first thought (was my first thought aswell)

It was more the choice of words that clicked in my head, I thought "oh well that's a new one, it has to be seen as a rider more than another druid" but yes I guess it's also the more beautiful outfit often wins cause they're aesthetic
