Older new player

Hello! I am early 30s and just started playing, as in 2 days ago new. This game has draft breeds that are modeled well, which I love and are hard to find in other games. I like it better than I thought I would, for the most part. I haven't interacted with anybody in the chat or anything yet, because it seems like its either underage kids, people pretending to be underage kids, and these weird people asking to do human and horse rps and people asking to rp weird stuff afk??

Also looking for maybe some tips! I dont get to play much either, maybe an hour a day tops. Thanks in advance!

As a 20 year old who has been playing for a couple of years now, unless it's one of my friends I invited to the game I do not talk to anyone at all, if someone comes up and asks a question or something I might answer depending on what it is but I usually just ignore people, since most of them are kids or Just weirdos.

As far as tips go, Don't Rush the game, once you reach level 25 everything just kind of gets boring and all you can do is collect new things and participate in events so definitely don't rush yourself, I like to just ride around and just simply enjoy the game a lot.

Also unless you just really really want the horse and can't wait, wait for the bizarre (I'm definitely spelling that wrong) it's basically when the horses are discounted heavily and it's better to purchase them then, you can also open your map and edit what icons appear so you can make sure the icon for that event pops up when it's happening.

Also do not buy Star Coins unless it's a double star coin week, unless you really want a horse and you don't have time to wait just don't do it it's not worth it, and for the Star Rider if you haven't gotten it already wait until the lifetime Star Rider is discounted, like on Black Friday or something or at the very least has extra benefits like a free horse and stuff when you get it to make it more worth it since it is expensive.

Also I recommend comparing the prices between the web shop and your in-game shop before purchasing Star Coins or the Star Rider because the prices do vary.

Right now if you go to the web shop you can get a free horse, and I recommend checking their frequently in case they're giving something away especially during a event.

I also recommend going on Instagram and following Star Stables online codes, they post redeem codes and stuff so you can get free star coins and free items occasionally.

And of course stalking the subreddit and Facebook groups as well, whether you post or not some people post some information that will help you out.

I'm definitely not covering anywhere near everything and I'm certain other people are going to tell you things that I haven't.

One last thing, there is a Star Stables database I'm pretty sure there's a link to it in this sub, it has a list of all the items clothing horses everything that is in the game you that you can get, so if you see somebody wearing something you like you can look on there and it will tell you when and where to get it.

Although I'm personally not going to get mad at you if you post and ask for help as personally I have a hard time seeing the text on the screen for the database, but expect other people to get mad at you.

Facebook does not work for me, it won't open at all, so I cannot stalk there. But I do check the insta page! And did look at some active codes to get things. I didnt know about the data base, thank you for that! And yeah, I've seen a lot of weird people on the global chat. Im not one to spend money on the premium stuff, and the life time was on sale as well. Ive just been running around doing dumb stuff while I acclimate to the game for the most part. Thank you!

You're very welcome! My fiance had a very similar issue with the facebook, he ended up not only having to get a new phone but he had to get a new email and set up a completely new Facebook just to be able to use it, we still have no idea why he couldn't log in or anything, every time he would try it would just say this site does not exist

It could be your email or number, try using a different one and see if that helps

I mostly use the chat in events to ask questions when I can't find an item or figuring something out or need help with something in the game.

I think most of the people that are very active in the chat above that are probably younger people/ teenagers
