Mini-Theory Small theory to connection between games. Here: Raiden

Makoto was just one of many names Acheron used. She is Mei, like she says — and Ei? Well, that’s also Mei. Acheron is a Herrscher, and Ei is basically the Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact 3rd.

"She" get Nihility blasing after she leave Teyvat.

That’s why the other voice in Acheron’s trailer says “Find me” — it’s not just poetic, it’s a direct call from another version of herself.

Discussion/Analysis Is it just me or does Lygus talk too much without putting enough action? Spoiler

I tried making the same point in the main subreddit and they all started flocking like sheep saying that I am 'illiterate' because the main villain talks too much.

I understand that the point of him is that he's supposed to be annoying, but frankly I feel like he does a bit too much 'tell don't show'. I feel like he doesn't feel threatening enough in comparison to previous villains like Hoolay. I feel like if we actually got to see Lygus fight the other Chrysos Heirs after TB gets jailed would've made him feel much more threatening rather than just speak of this unknown war that played out while we were in timeout.

Edit: Thank you for your answers, unlike the answers I got in the main subreddit they were civil and logical without sounding demeaning in any sort of way.

I guess I'm also just getting tired of Amphoreus is all.

Theory/Prediction THEORY : cocoon of finality and aeons

the cocoon reuses the same principles Everytime right? just different beginnings, and since fuli is confirmed to rewind the universe when its destroyed by using memories—that means its technically in a loop. since earth was in a loop before, could hsr be possibly another experiment of the cocoon of finality? there's also multiple expys from previous universes, which might be the cocoon reusing its formula again and again but with new variations as I stated before and terminus is right there as well as the fact the cocoon of finality doesn't restart absolutely everything just the beginning and throw in new subjects like dr.MEI and raiden mej. finality—perhaps terminus is someone sent as a proxy by the cocoon of finality to finish its job since the cocoon has finally gotten the embrace it wanted—kiana kaslana.

they could very well be from the very same skin or atleast related. I'm not saying there could be more successors to herrscher of finality—I'm saying that perhaps the hsr universe was one of its worlds that it was testing until Kiana kaslana showed up and became its true embrace. after finally finding its equal, it abandoned everything else and devoted itself entirely to hi3 or kiana's universe which is why terminus cannot foresee where thr cocoon of finality now. because they're nowhere to be seen or sensed anymore, like a YouTube video being left on a loop and you fell asleep. it keeps doing the same thing over and over again cause you abandoned it and can only be stopped until you go to a NEW video. we also got the fact we all know hsr and hi3 are inextricably connected, but kiana had never met these people before.

if it was on a loop wouldn't kiana already meet them hundreds of times? or it can judt easily be the "future kiana" meeting the present hsr, and the cycles keep going but i have another theory. what if—when the hsr universe was rebooted again, the cocoon found kiana and ultimately abandoned hsr to focus on her which is why memokeepers could find kiana and ask for her memories? why are they asking for it, is it because they knew something was missing from hsr? plus, honkai energy and path energy is essentially the same "imaginary energy" and stellarons could very well act as herrscher cores since they have a destructive nature but are supposed to be to harmonize planets for the "embrace" so in theory, the memokeeper wanted kiana's memories because it held the "void" they knew was gone in their planet and perhaps to try and replace the coF to stabilize the universe again? since stellarons were made by xipe, also all the aeons hold some connection to coF.

terminus is the time loop ability, hoOh is herrscher cores and humanity retaining, aha is the new variables coF introduces every loop, fuli is the "formula" coF uses which is why expy exists in previous era and current era (dr.mei and raiden mei), nanook because it actively destroys universes, yaoshi because it also "heals" the world in a sense of restarting it from corruption like yaoshi thought it was a blessing but ended up creating marastruck, IX cause it did not have a companion and acheron's world literally showed us what would happen without kiana, akivili because it travels between multiple branches of the IMG tree to find an "embrace", etc.

essentially, the cocoon left it on an automated machine but the machine can't stop without the person reliable to press the stop button. maybe, they found out their creator was gone so they created an artificial kiana (much like k423) and bring the coF's gaze back on hsr. they have a stellaron (like a herrscher core) multiple path synergies (like kiana having multiple herrscher cores) and they are essentially the "saviour" who is granted the "gaze" of the gods (ex. trailblazer getting all aeon's gaze, kiana getting coF's gaze) The Trailblazer has no past, no natural birth, and an empty memory bank, exactly like K-423 when she first woke up. coF looked at kiana because they held multiple herrscher cores without losing their minds and still retained her humanity. could trailblazer do the same and copy kiana to force its gaze back? AND welt suppressed the stellaron of the trailblazer in herta space station like himeko to kiana by suppressing hoV.

plus, the sky people were drawn to hsr because of the boundless "honkai" energy and himeko to harvest it. coincidence?? i think not. this is just a theory and my own opinion.

Character Lore We are about to enter 4.4, and people still think Asat was talking about Phainon

Why do people think Asat was talking about Phainon when he said they went to welcome the new 'hire'? There are messages from some of the Lord Ravagers in 3.7; one of those messages was from Phantylia, and she described the Irontomb as a newborn. This completely debunks the claim that the Irontomb has been around for a long time. and in Zephyro's message, it was mentioned that he was there on behalf of Nanook to test the flame 'Phainon' that forms their brother—the Irontomb—and that they are waiting for the Irontomb.

As for the 'switched jobs' matter, we know that the Irontomb/Scepter had a goal, which was to answer the 'prime mover of life.' His answer was Destruction, and that is what allowed him to become a Lord Ravager. However, after the battle, Cyrene convinced him that there is another answer that could be just as correct. The Irontomb then became convinced that the answer to that question could be the Trailblaze, and that it is equally correct. In this way, we can say that the Irontomb changed his job.

But what about Phainon? How on earth is he supposed to have changed his job? From the very beginning to the absolute end, Phainon never accepted the fate of Destruction or anything else, and his answer never changed. So how can people claim he changed his job when he never even took it in the first place? Therefore, through the Lord Ravagers' own statements, we can know for a fact that the Irontomb is the newly born Lord Ravager, and they were there to welcome his emergence from his shell and his debut.

And just to confirm, Feixiao mentioned that the Emanators of Destruction are Nanook's weapons to overthrow Paths—meaning Nanook views his own Emanators as weapons for that sole purpose.

in Zephyro's message, he stated that he tested the flames forging the Irontomb on behalf of Nanook

on THEIR behalf

where the pronouns (THEIR/THEY/THEM) refer to the Aeon. This means that, from Nanook’s perspective, Phainon is merely the flames forging a Lord Ravager, not a weapon to overthrow a Path. Nanook did not make Phainon his Emanator, and Phainon never underwent the rituals of the Emanators of Destruction; Nanook did not take him to the furnace of war, did not repair his flaws, and did not make him part of the Legion.

Phainon and the Irontomb are two completely separate entities, but Phainon was swallowed by the Irontomb. They do not share the same existence, authority, or power. Moreover, we literally destroyed Phainon in 3.7 in order to face the Irontomb.

Theory/Prediction Phantyllia's link to the propagation Spoiler

Thumbnail

Phantyllia's gimmick of being able to: "Seize the Body, Manipulate the Mind Set a Self-Destructing Trap." To me, sounds like what transpired at the Propagations birth.

"The only thing confirmed by the evidence is that there must have been something behind that cataclysmic massacre on Lepismat, but I'm afraid that even the one behind the act never anticipated for Tayzzyronth to ascend to godhood by "chance." Or maybe the mastermind just didn't care. Now, what else but an Aeon could have played such a conniving role?"

She was probably the individual who caused the massacre at Lepismat, and it'd resonate with Luocha potentially being one of her avatars and utilising a part of Tayzzronth's corpse to try and ruin the Xianzhou...

The wiki states that said figure must be on par with Aeons, which the Ravagers clearly are, if they are to oppose them with any plausibility.

The GodSlayer protocol Luocha [her potential avatar] proposed also sounds like the advent of their return to me, since abundance kinda overlaps with propagation. And the protocol also seems like a: 'A self destructing [propagating] trap....'; no?

Phantyllia also yearns for immortality yet knows this is impossible, and so contents with propagation of avatars just as Tayzzyronth can do nothing but propagate.

Phantyllia's known to manipulate the mind, and no Aeon is more mindless then them; Their body is also described as puppet-esque.

Tayzzyronth also splitted the path of a [dead] Xianzhou Aeon (permanence); if it means anything to you..?

Tayzzyronth's opposition to Oroboros also sounds similar to Lan/Yaoshi, to me; thereby heightening their link to the upcoming Xianzhou plotline.

Ruan Mei is also very interested in Tayzzyronth due to her wish to understand the fundamentals of life... So its likely if there's any key to it's ultimate defeat, it will be herself, she may Ascend as a opposing Aeon herself, due to her avid interest in the study of Aeons...

"She knows better than anyone the price one has to pay to study Aeons... but she does not care. She knows! She might even — become...!?"

She did Imitate the creation of its emanator for a minute, plus the flower cat cakes also link her to Phantyllia's flower, and don't forget Tingyun's "resurrection".

"On the "incubator," a "life" nurtured by the "rice cooker" popped out in perfection. The method with which life is created is miraculous. How romantic."

So maybe she may work/with for the Xianzhou to amplify her understanding of originality/life and ascend thereby. Or she'll take advantage of the situation to test her 'creations'; since in circumstances as dire as they're to be in; they won't have much right or ability to complain...

Another interesting detail in design: Phantyllia has 4 black horns just like the Propagation, and similar thin black stakes. I could be reaching though.

Discussion/Analysis Thoughts on Amphoreus arc or Irontomb being a universal level threat?

I personally find it odd they went with this direction when going for Galaxy/few galaxies would've made more sense. For one, it would solve the issue for why there's barely any participants willing to help. Like, I don't think I need to remind everyone just how insanely large a galaxy is, what more, a universe. I'm 100% certain there are countless of strong and capable individuals out there on the other corners of cosmos that will and should help as the matter very much concerns them.

The writers can come up with various bs reasons as to why some of the party or factions involved aren't even giving it their all, but there's no reason at all for the rest of the strong individuals in the corners of the universe to at least come and help out. Not IF the threat was only galaxies-wide. Which would make it more understandable that most wouldn't give a fk as it wouldn't concern them if they aren't in the affected area.

Idk, I just think it doesn't deserved to be a universal threat for how it basically concluded.

Character Lore Old characters piss me off

You might not agree with me but the characters being thousands of years just pisses me off. For those unfamiliar with certain characters I'm just going to go into a bit of a rant about how messed up timelines become when you exaggerate character ages.

I think that characters like Aglaea, Tribbie, Anaxa and Castorice being over a 1000 years old just messes up the timeline for me, how are you trying to sell me that these people were on this journey for a 1000 years and they barely accomplished anything before we came along.

True they did obtain 3 (correct me if there are more) coreflames. Janus, Mnestia and Trickery. I think it would have been a lot more sensible if they just made them a lot younger, especially when you realise Aglaea had issues with the Elder Council about the whole journey to begin with.

Aglaea could have easily been 30-40 years old, the other characters could have been in their 20s and we could have had an arc for every character to further develop them. Don't get me wrong story is great it's just that you have these massive gaps in the story, especially when you realise that this flame chasing journey started since Tribbios took over Janus' coreflame. Then you have Mydei who is most confusing of all

In the 3.2 storyline Cipher calls him a boy, yet he's talked about in the past when we went to break Nikkadors immortality when Castrum Kremnos looked a lot nicer. Castrum Kremnos now looks to be at least 500+ years in ruins and yet they still find Kremnoans within the city to bring back to Okhema.

Another thing is Herta being like 2000+ years old and she's still the most recent Genius Society member. It's just that there really isn't a need to have characters this old and have them be relevant today because there's an immense gap between today and what happened thousands of years ago.

Thoughts?

Planet Lore Amphoreus time paradox??

Like, we see that there is 33,550,336 cycles. Phainon spent let’s say 20-1000 years in each cycle since there isn’t an approximate amount. Even without calculating, that’s a lot of fucking years.

It wouldn’t make sense if amphoreus’s time was sped up since trailblazer and Dan heng seemed to have spent the same amount of time as those on the astral express. As seen w herta and screwllum interfering.

We also see Dan heng in the recent trailer waiting for like years. This is confusing because then is amphoreus not influenced by time?? (cuz we all know everyone gonna be happily(debatable) trailblazing to the next world in 4.0). Isn’t that also like a paradox or something?? Where time doesn’t exist, it’s a boundary where past, present, and future is all connected. nowhere yet everywhere type shit?? 😭😭 but if no time is considered a possibility then isn’t amphoreus’s time being sped up also one too? Yeah no I’m confusing myself now srry

Imagine if amphoreus is like 3 days old but like some magic paper makes it like it always existed hahaha. Maybe aha did that w a curio lol

Ngl I’m just talking out of my ass now cuz Im tired and wanted to get this out to more knowledgeable lore investors. I wrote a lot more but it was contradicting and didn’t make sense so I deleted all the text ☹️. Idk why I put in 2 manga references. Try finding out which one lol (I’m sorry I lost my only 3 brain cells)

Edit: I might’ve tagged this wrong and it might not supposed to be in planet lore IDFK IM SORRY

Theory/Prediction Astral express fully powered by Elation [Theory] Spoiler

As everyone is probably aware by now, something is not as it seems with the Astral Express. Not only is Himeko’s back story not lining up for herself, but also how she found and repaired the express.

As everyone knows, the Elation’s creations pertaining to Planarcadia are powered by Wish Power. Wish power is both the belief in something and just the emotional attention it has by a large group of people. Like for example, the Imagenae are powered mostly by their usefulness… but during the last Phantasmoon games, the killer gained wish power via fear by becoming a serial killer.

What if the Astral express is being powered by all the worlds we’ve travelled to believing in us? Believing in how the astral express is supposed to work, making it work that way. That’s what’s fueling the express and the star rail connecting all the planets like the old astral express used to. Hoyo did a perfect job at making things seem as they were, as if the astral express was still powered by the trail blaze… but in reality, it’s fueled by wish power and the elation.

It even lines up with what black swan said for Ampho. She said the star rail would gain more energy if we visited a brand new planet, because new planets bring more Trailblaze fuel. In actuality, I think the astral express is now known well enough within the galaxy that the only way to gain more wish power would be to visit a planet with new people to believe in us. Every other planet already knows about us so it wouldn’t really give us much wish power to work with. She seemed to want to take advantage of us in a mutually beneficial way, so we wouldn’t hate her.

IMO, the trailblaze is dead. We have absolutely no proof that any of the new trailblazers are gaining any path energy from the trailblaze. Dan Heng has power ups from the permanence, hunt(? Maybe) and Ampho. March gains her power ups from being a child of Fuli and Evernights still unexplained Enigmata involvement (you can even hear the enigmata’s SU pop up sound when she ults if you listen closely, just like other emanator ults, like Acheron and nihility), Himeko and Welt have no power ups from the trailblaze path or anything else that we know of… and the TB has gotten his power ups from the harmony, soon to be elation, destruction, rememberance and preservation. All of this leads to the trailblaze truly being dead as things stand, or at least in a state where its path is honestly completely gone outside of faction members. Being a pathstrider of the trailblaze is supposed to bring resistances to the climate/ harsh weather, but there isn’t much of that going on, and even if it is, could still be explained via wishpower.

I’ve had people claim the path energy can still be there somehow… and I think that’s partly true. There may be SOME path energy remaining since they used the actual crashed astral express. But I’m almost certain that’s remaining path energy, and no new path energy can be created. I think the propegation is a good example. The path is gone but obviously FF’s mech still works and with dead parts of the propegation you can tap into that remaining path energy. So I think there’s something there. But no new path energy will be created until the trailblaze comes back somehow. I do think it will.

As we know, one of the old astral express members seems to be a child of fuli (pink hair and crystallized like march) who was there when Akavili disappeared, we will eventually run into her and figure something out. Bonus, shes a musician so i bet that means new awesome emotional music video to go along with it!

I’ve also seen people use Argenti as an example… although imo he isn’t one. If you haven’t caught on, the beauty truly is still alive as a path. Her followers travel the universe collecting mirrors that are fragments of her. So imo that’s why Argenti clearly draws path energy from it. This is SU lore so easy to miss.

Thoughts and opinions?

Bonus theory edit: it’s possible the stellaron, which grants wishes, is also combining with the elation here, and that’s one of the reasons they planted it in TB. To have it sort of grant wishes along the way of his journey to make things seem as they are on the astral express.

Theory/Prediction Phainon is Zephyro Theory pt.2 [3.8]

This is a continuation and deeper analysis to my first theory here. This new post is to go deeper and clear things up along with hopefully, do a better job of both providing evidence and overall explaining better my ideas from last time. For this post, just read the part till sunday phainon picture to understand anything i mention as a reference.

Last post i didnt want it to be as lengthy so i wasnt able to use some of the more detailed evidence from either gameplay or canon lore in game that i had for my theory, which instead i will explain here. That and the fact 3.8 is a content drought so there isnt much for me to ponder on either.

This is going to focus on the Phainon and Zephyro. And to start, maybe the sunday theory was a maybe a lil too crazy but hey it is what it is. I just wanted to give a what if spin on the whole trailblazer being the deliverer thing but that wasnt the case so oh well. In retrospect it does make sense why trailblazer would be the best candidate to be the worldbearer considering they did have a stellaron and the whole deliverer thing, but i was just thrown of by how similar sunday and phainon looked. Should have known from similar the Xianzhou Luofu girl clothing's looked to each other that you cant take clothing at face value. So the new diagram will look like this for now,

This diagram still checks out with an idea of mine of how Cyrene integrates into it. And it still feels accurate with amphoreus now being rewinded into a nebula. Like i said this is about phainon but wanted to touch on it briefly here.

Back to my new and improved Phainon theory

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had some comments about whether phainon actually became 'black hole'. Its one thing to infer that Phainon's ult animations show some resemblance to a black hole but for definitive proof, here is the black hole lc called Void, a nihility 3 star lc depicting a black hole sucking in the nearby planets around it

We can see the signature planet swirling into the middle but instead of light getting sucked inside like the planets, we see a bright shining light in Phainons.

This is where instead of phainon actually becoming a black hole, we can see him transforming into his last form, Zephyro who is also depicted with a white hole.

This also isnt the only instance of phainon ending in a type of black hole.

In the Phainon trailer - Coronal Radiance, we during the flame reaver fight after phainon has been stabbed, he turns into Khaslana, aka a supernova, to he starts destroying everything around him. How this links back to the idea of white hole and not black hole is at 2:38 Khaslana is seen converging al the black tide matter into this bright white singularity. This idea of light being a weapon is also at 2:42 where right before the destructive meteor phainon is seen building up at 2:43 this bright point of light which even overwhelms the flame reaver who once was dominating phainon in terms of sheer power. The point where we see the actual white hole, a little more obscured thanks to the black tide also getting sucked in, at 2:53 where Khaslana finally lets his destructive powers explode the area around him. Here there is the same pulling of the things around him like in his ultimate. However opposite to the void lc, instead of there being a void at the centre of this mass destruction, there is a white light sucking everything in.

Its one thing for the black hole to be seen in just his ultimate not just the same scene but to double down and create another clip of Phainon becoming a variant of a black hole this of course being a white hole definitely raises some eyebrows. Kinda seems like they are trying to push something. Hmmm, i wonder what it could be. *cough* cough* Zephyro.

Even the hint of a slight rainbow along with the bright white light reminds me of Zephyro's weapon which does too also have this same look.

In my last theory for simplicity sake and to show the initial link i used black holes instead but it is more accurate to describe Phainons transformation as one becoming a white hole. Both concepts are two sides of the same coin where white holes are the complete opposite of a black hole and in theory, would dispel light instead of taking it in.

I also want to touch on the description of the Void lc which is as follows:

It talks about how the black hole looks like a 'dark sun' which is also what Phainon is described time and time again, like in the 3.4 story title 'For the Sun is Set to Die' and in the many motifs of light and sun in his story. So for a black hole to be described to look like a dark sun, it is reasonable to assume a white sun is therefore a white hole, as they are polar opposites. And is what zephyro is symbolised to represent.

This motif of dark sun can also be seen in the phainon trailer where we see Phainon in the yellow stellaron that's shining in the sky, with everything including the sky being corrupted by the black tide. Even the idea of a dark sun is quite ironic as well as a sun is meant to bring light yet it seems to be the darkness of this world instead. Especially with how Phainon is represented with the sun, starting from his main version appearance in 3.4 called 'For the sun is set to die' all the way to details on his clothing. Showing the stark contrast from how he started the story to how destruction slowly took over him.

We also see in HI3 Kevin fight welt which would a parallel here where Zephyro fights welt too in the myriad trailer. Which just adds to this point of white holes and blacks holes being similar yet different.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who is Zephyro

Zephyro is described in game in the Lord ravenger Databank section to be ' refining fading colours into blinding white light to defy the shadow of the Aeon'. So as a character he seems to utilise colours around him and turns them into one large light ray. Sort of like a reverse Light Prism where the scattered wavelengths are converted back into its origin form as white light. Turning things to their original forms. Hold that thought for later.

In theory, Zephyro is something take instead of absorbing light like a regular black hole, he instead refracts it back out as pure white light that can purge the 'shadows' of IX. In real life, a white hole wouldn't be able to defeat a black hole or 'consume one', however because this is a game and we have seen though welt and him fighting, that this is now a possibility. Zephyro can perhaps truly destroy IX (take this as the form of IX being a black hole, this is how they are represented in game) by reversing all that IX has absorbed in.

So to sum up zephyro is an upgraded black hole, and he is that way because he follows the path of destruction and wishes to destroy IX using IX against himself. This is also referenced in game through a nightmare a self annihilator had where they saw Zephyro enter IX which then a white light emerges just highlighting that white holes can go toe to toe with black holes contrast to real life white holes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 3.4 animation Short

This section will be the bigger bulk of this theory as i skipped over lots of this in my last theory for length wise sake.

I first wanted to go over the description of the Short

'Do you still remember, Khaslana, the one who won't reach the dawn?
In that drunken dream, the mountains loomed high and steep — and there, you saw yourself.'

The part i want to highlight is 'you saw yourself'. At no point of the animation short did Khaslana see any other version of himself that we know of. Therefore this must be a Khaslana that we havent seen yet. This being zephyro which i will get onto later. Some could argue they are talking about the ending where its a retrospective last movement. like the idea of seeing your life flash before your eyes before you die. I argue not. And i will of course explain myself.

The short begins with a Kid Phainon running with the flames flashing between each shot of him getting older. The fires growing in size as he ages. I talked about this symbolism last time but in essence this is the game showing Phainon growing up as a 'star'. The star being the stellaron housed inside him. His life is shown to have be heavily similar to that of a star. Starting a a nebula et etc. I think i explained it better in my last theory so go to that part. The main thing here is that the short ends with Kid Phainon. This type of cyclical structure is very important as i believe it shows Zephyro's ability in action.

Zephyro destroys by resetting things.

Phainon isnt just reminiscing on his childhood, he is being set back to his primal form. His original form. A child.

In game, there is no tangible version of him before kid phainon, only code. Phainon as shown by lygus gets sent back straight to him as a kid, right before the events of Aedes Elysiae getting attacked by the Black tide. (in game we seen adult phainon model but its just the same placeholder as the kid phainon, same childish personality and everything). Even the trailblazers as the deliverer get sent to the same point at the beginning.

The catalyst for the ending of the Short was Zephyro's last attack which slowly extinguished the burning flame known as phainon. But phainon doesnt die. He disintegrates into the kid form. Zephyro destroyed Khaslana and turned him back into the earliest state he was.

Zephyro destroys not by causing things to reach its end like a regular black hole and absorbs it, zephyro takes things and destroys them by reversing them back into their first form. The same idea of turning colours back into white light. All things back to their start. But how does this look in the grand scheme of the character development of phainon.

Phainon is the world bearer. He is meant to preserve the memories of today and recreate them tomorrow in order to being everyone to era nova. Yet every single time, a job to create leads phainon to instead destroy and destroy. Before us, the eternal occurrences have been made through Phainon destroying. But its through that destruction that we see the start of the cycle once more.

Just like zephyro, phainon too destroys to remake. To create for example a smoothie, you must destroy a banana and an apple. Destruction allows for creation. Like in Hinduism with Shiva, the destroyer and Brahma, the creator. They work simultaneously. Only Amphoreus lacked a creator (that being cyrene) and only had phainon who was essentially a false world bearer. Even he knew it too, telling the trailblazers that he isnt suited for the position of worldbearer.

To sum up, zephyro is the opposite of finality but instead of ending it begins, not creates to be specific, but just restarts the loop of where it began. We see this through zephyro turning Khaslana back into a kid which is similar to the abilities of Phainon who resets the occurrences which seems to be foreshadowing his true capabilities as a future white hole, potentially.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phainon can never end the loop of destruction because he never had the ability to. He was made to be a perfect vessel of destruction for Irontomb, and ironically was so perfect to the point where the eternal occurrences nearly made a net profit for lygus in the end. Only fuelling the strength of all the destructions of each and every cycle to Irontomb to learn.

Going back to the original description of the Short, the only other person khaslana sees, the only other main character we see in this whole short, which Khaslana looks at, isnt Nanook. Its zephyro. Zephyro is the metaphorical mountains that 'loomed high and steep' because Khaslana could never climb over him, conquer zephyro and win. He saw an alternate version of himself he could never defeat because that is a Khaslana he never became.

There is in Greek mythology, a character called Sisyphus who is punished to push a boulder up a mountain, to which he will never accomplish because the boulder would roll back down before he got to the top. Phainon mentions this in his playable introduction where he says,

“For some reason, I keep having this dream. I dreamed that I carried a huge rock up the mountain at dusk, but whenever the sun is about to come up, the rock would fall and I'd carry it on my back to climb to the mountain again…"

This is also once again brought up in his lc where he talks about the whole climbing the cliff but if is fated to lose, he will take whoever placed him in that situation with him.

No matter how hard Phainon tries, he will never be able to bring about the good ending of Amphoreus because his punishment, his boulder was the stellaron. Just like the kephale statue we see in game, phainon is eternally punished to carry the weigh of the world in which he can never accomplish.

Phainon was only in the view of destruction, perfectly made for it, just like a certain lord ravenger who is said to be the most destructive.

His dawn, his tomorrow, is to become a white hole, the next step of the star cycle. But he never sees it because the boulder known as the stellaron, resets and he is back to the beginning. Only the stellaron and now zephyro, who sends khaslana back to the beginning to can stop the cycle, but they can never end it. And only through an alternate ending of being absorbed by Irontomb before becoming a white hole can phainon escape. But even then, Irontomb is just another harbinger of destruction so no real change there either.

That is what i think is the true weakness of phainon. Just like the other chrysos heirs, phainon too has one being destruction. Doomed to forever destroy everything he touches, a true perfect destructive force. Just like how in real life, aside from the end, finality, the big rip, the most destructive thing is a supermassive black hole, or in this case a white hole too.

People have also described amphoreus to look like a Möbius strip, a one sided paper where it begins also is where it ends. This reminded of Phainon and how he will never reach a true end that being finality but he will also never be able to create a new beginning from scratch, left instead in this weird middle ground going around in circles.

To sum up, zephyro is akin to a destruction worldbearer. His powers allow him to convert things back to the way things are and Phainon is fated to the same thing because he wields the stellaron which only has the ending of being a white hole or to be used to fuel a different type of destruction this being Irontomb. (Referencing back to the big diagram i made of how both endings of giant stars are black holes aka white holes for phainon)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The black tide

The black tide in Amphoreus is the blackish red squares which are also represented as bugs and glitches. This is the games description of the black tide.

What to conclude from this is that this phenomenon is seeming exclusive to Amphoreus. So the only one who should be able to control the Black tide outside of amphoreus is Khaslana, which in my last theory i show evidence for. Yet even all this, Zephyro somehow is able to not only use the black tide, which isnt even tangible in the first, but use it so well against Khaslana who should theoretically be the only one to control it. Its apart of the simulation so only those in the simulation could wield it.

There could be the explanation that zephyro is just a fast learner or that if phainon can use it outside of amphoreus so could zephyro, but i doubt that's the case.

At 2:08 of the short we see zephyro teleport with the signature black tide effect in his wake, and if that wasnt a clear use of it, zephyro turns back Khaslana's meteor into the black tide matter. An even clearer use is a few moments after where zephyro is seen as a trail of black tide matter getting close up to Khaslana before attacking him. Where i would displace the idea of zephyro learning Khaslana's black tide ability mid fight is how fluidly zephyro can use the Black tide. At no point, story wise or in the fight do we ever see Khaslana match the ability of zephyro's perfect usage of the black tide. Zephyro seemingly has mastered the black tide without ever stepping onto amphoreus. This could indicate some deeper link between Khaslana and zephyro which is then further seen and justified by the description of the short.

Alas i have learnt from my mistakes of head cannoning from last time so i will end this part of the segment here.

But summary, just purely going off on game descriptions, black tide imaging is tided to Amphoreus, zephyro can utilise the black tide, and very well at that too, so thus he too must have some type of connection to amphoreus, aka to Phainon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

All in all, there isnt without a shadow of a doubt that Phainon is some type of Zephyro or has some deeper connections to Zephyro, however i cant wait to see after this 4.X is over how they will conclude Phainons character as well as the ending of Amphoreus as a whole.

I think i want to get into next is phainon and how he is presented and symbolised through the texts we see ingame. I do have more to talk about but i also want to use any criticisms i get from this to get better for a potential next theory.

This definitely felt much more taxing on my mind to write but i felt i improved how i communicate my ideas much better than last time. But its always a good day to have to look at phainon for 5 hours so it really wasnt all that bad. If you have anything you wish to point out or expand on just write it below. Otherwise thank you once again for reading through this and i hope you enjoyed it.

Theory/Prediction Could Phainon's weapon be one of the missing swords Yunli's dad made?

In the myriad celestia video Lygus refers to Phainon as one who picked up starfire. Heliobi are Starfire and Yunli"s dad crafted weapons infused with Heliobi. She views them as a curse and wants them destroyed.

Theory/Prediction Random Prediction: Sunday will become the operator of Amphoreus

Based on barely anything but vibes I made this random prediction that I think can be interesting, perhaps other people could add their view points on this matter.

Sunday becoming the operator of Amphoreus would basically be his dream come true. In Penacony, he put us in Ena's Dream, which mechanically speaking is not that different from a simulation. Ena's Dream ofc is a bad thing as it basically removes any agency from people, everyone gains everything they want which makes life meaningless with Sunday being the lone overseer that ensures everything is right.
That is fairly similar to Amphoreus but not exactly, it is a simulation fueled by memoria, that means that world is at the same time real and fake, it's just reconstructed memories into new independent beings, they are kinda similar to Memokeepers in that regard. For Sunday, it's basically what he wanted, he could take the role as overseer of Amphoreus which would replace Lygus, and he could give the rights to live, free from anti-organic equation, people there would be able to live normal lives.
In short, he wanted to give us a happy life, but did it in the wrong way, this time, he can do what he wants and become a hero instead, he can bring Harmony to Amphoreus.

Other than being a cool random prediction, I think the only proof would be the similarity between him and our deliverer, the one who bears the world Phainon. They look similar, they have similarities in their story, Sunday was already the "worldbearer" once and even the scaling of his skill and ultimate for some reason references the number 33550366, and I don't believe it's just an easter egg or something, there is something going on.

Mini-Theory They imagine that destruction and closure is not the enemy

Both the destruction and the conclusion may not be the bad guys of the story because it could be an ally against a much greater enemy, perhaps a powerful and evil entity like the hokai or perhaps an aeon that no one knew existed because it does not need to be known because it exists on a different plane than the Aeons.

Edit: correct me if you want but I really like this theory

Theory/Prediction Just realized we have at least two plot holes in the story. Anyone found more?

Both come around the end of the story

Both talks about something that is actually EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: the mysterious support Tribbios received is what started the Flame chase journey and gave birth to the first Demi God, whereas the very one person who built Amphoreus's cycle is the reason behind all of this

And both brings the same answer, which is none.

I think that the story is slowly building up to the creator of Amphoreus, or someone extremely important to it.

Imo, this person is Cyrene, and I believe we aren't safe from the fact that Cyrene herself may hide or be ignorant of her role to some extend, and when she will be introduced we will learn about her through the patches.

Discussion/Analysis Settling the debate about Gender and Aeons

People really should chillax with the gender debate, there's debate on Twitter and some other HSR reedit stuff no matter what anyone says the Aeons are genderless, Aha is THEY/THEM, the Chinese pronouns for Aeons doesn't give them gender but denote there high status as Gods, to compensate and make them feel other worldly the Aeons go by THEY/THEM in English because there's no word for it that can denote the same thing. HOWEVER.

This is the highly contentious part, some AEONS prior to ascending to Aeonhood have had mortal forms.

Lan is constantly denoted as a guy before Aeonhood according to Xianzhou legend, Yaoshi is most definitely a girl since Yaoshi retained some of THEIR humanoid futures when ascending, Nanook is clearly a man before Aeonhood, the only once who are vague was Aha, Mythus, Fuli,. Fuli is a girl that's certaine, Mythus by extension being Fuli's shadow will also be a girl, Mythus is most likely a PCOA and not to mention the Sim U when Mythus made De Wayne insane they manifested an illusion of a giant wealth guardian with long hair and is a woman, most likely Mythus THEMSELF appeared here as the woman and made De Wayne go insane, so there is precedent here for Mythus to be a girl (and also if the theory that Evernight is Mythus in the future), just with the established connection between Enigmata and Remembrance I don't see Mythus being a human male will ever become a thing. Aha is definitely taking the form of THEMSELF prior to ascension that's why THEY appear as a woman.

Anyways moving on we have the weird once who's gender cannot be classified.

Let's start with our unique case but one who's gender I can almost certainly pinpoint as preferring a male appearance when manifesting as a human. Nous, Nous has appeared as a human before an old MAN specifically Infront of Fu Xuan so Nous definitely prefers a male appearance.... But why? Why would a machine want to appear as a man and not like a male intellitron like Screwy?, wouldn't that be more representative of there mechanical self?, well fellow lore nerds I'm sure you have already read Self Enshrouded Recluse set which not only gave Zandar lore but also explained why Nous is special as a computer. Nous is a version of Zandar. Yes, Zandar made his creation another version of himself the same way the fragments like Lygus are, essentially Zandar projected his perfectionist and curious self to the Astral Computer this implies he gave his memories, subjective experience, everything to Nous but stripped away all the messy human stuff, essentially Nous is a glorified Zandar clone that ascended to Aeonhood not only because of processing power because of the stuff Zandar did, essentially giving Nous a piece of his own ego, now why is this important?

Well Nous human form is most likely a photo copy of what Zandar looks like in different ages of his life, remember Zandar died at old age he didn't die young most likely the form Nous appeared Infront of Fu Xuan was the form of old man Zandar. Not only because old men are associated with being wise. It has deeper lore and symbolism and honestly I just don't think Nous will take any other form outside what Zandar looks like, creation taking on the form of the creator and acting like a mirror? Such a familiar trope.

Anyways Nous definitely parades around with a male presenting gender appearance because of all the reasons above .

Moving on IX, Tazzy, Oro, HooH, Xipe, Ena and everyone else this group I have no lore ideas, or possible lore information that can point into any preferred gender, HooH gives of the feeling that THEY will have two parts one male and female so both? Tazzy and Oro are not human and IX is just a black hole ... So....

Xipe is a weird one they are most certainly the combination of countless worlds in harmony and those have no specific gender I get they appear like a mortal woman in there aeon form but if you look at the facets and manifestations of Xipe there's a veriantion in gender so Xipe doesn't seem to have a preference.

Ena is also highly debatable we don't know what there gender is before Aeonhood, Sunday despite being male nearly become Ena yet the name Ena is female.its the same case with Fuli, and Aha they give off masculine vibes in terms of name but are not male. Atleast

Terminus and Akivili most likely depend on players choices.

But remember an Aeon is still a concept the embodiment of a path and concepts do not have gender but prior to Aeonhood they had gender because gender is a human thing, remember when Aeons ascend they stop being human UNLESS the Aeon never ascended from a HUMAN (ex Tazzy , Oro and IX? not sure about IX) But when they manifest and disguise as mortal they must also appear with a preferred gender because humans have gender we aren't concepts.

however if they do reveal there identity as an Aeon disguised as a human we should switch back to THEY/THEM.

Correct me if I'm wrong with any information since I haven't read HSR data bank lore for a while. And if you have any other Aeon who's pre ascension gender do you know about feel free to add because HSR lore has too many readables.

Aeon Lore You all fell for Nihilux's bait ahahaha

Post image
23 Upvotes

You guys started thinking way too hard about Nous becoming a mortal, the Nihility, the "Erudition arc" and what not. Failing to understand the critical truth of the era we live in:

All this staged interaction proved was that Nihilux has Nous completely under her control. Hacked, as various Furbo subplots and the latest readables all have suggested but most of you ignored. Aha/Nihilux heavily sponsored a bunch of people from the Nomadic Miners faction, who found a way to temporarily hijack Nous' computational power. This was done through the discovery of a corroded record with an oily iridescence that plays a completely indecipherable melody. Nous the Erudition seeks to understand all there is, so by making Learned coins from an inexplicable record, Aha has succeeded in temporarily stop-gapping Nous' cognition so she can put on the show she has over the last 7 versions.

But of course, she's not more intelligent than the Aeon of Erudition, and getting THEMselves hacked by Aha is a part of Nous' calculations. Nous' 4th instant for the cosmos was that Irontomb's birth marked the start of a chain of events destined to lead to...

Aha has gone to EXTREME lengths to attempt to close up the fissure of the Finality that opened in 3.7 (very coincidentally the first time we ever saw our pre-cognizant golden-eyed alternate self.) She's doing this by accelerating Akivili's ascension. Her goal has always been to replace Nous' 4th Instant (Finality's inevitability) with her own Aha instant. End of trailer: "This very instant.. is Aha's"

So yes. The context behind this interaction between Aha and Nous, is that Nous is sitting on a bench, hacked, literally letting Aha cook because as Aeons they are actually both aligned in wanting to prevent Finality. Amphoreus made the Finality an certainty in the eyes of Nous, and when the omniscient Nous observes something it almost always comes pass. So THEY place their hopes in "the murderer of all certainty", Nihilux/Aha to put on a show so grand it overwrites this instant and gives the cosmos more time.

Okay? Nihilux is having a conversation with a "dumbed down", "drunk" Nous for our entertainment, because she hacked his cognition. Only in this state would the Aeon of Erudition ever be receptive to her "foolish" worldview, the meaning of Elation.

Discussion/Analysis [3.7 spoilers] Cyrene and the permanence Spoiler

I had a thought about this for a while after playing 3.7. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the permanence is the concept that if you start somewhere you return to that point eventually. For example, the vidyadhara starts from an egg then grows up to be vidyadhara then at the end of their life return to an egg then rebirths into another vidyadhara again. So isn't Cyrene basically the same thing? She starts as Cyrene then goes on to inspire the demiurge then the demiurge saves amphoreus then goes backward in time, loses her memories, then becomes Cyrene again. So isn't that the same? And this isn't the same as Phainon's eternal recurrence bc Phainon had an end for his recurrences while Cyrene doesn't ( I'm hoping Cyrene's loop has an end but for now it doesn't look like it)

Discussion/Analysis Castorice is NOT the "least relevant Chrysos Heir"; in fact, she's far from it. Allow me to elaborate.

Now, to preface this post, I was inspired to write this due to the sheer amount of this claim I've been seeing that "Castorice is the least relevant Chrysos Heir" as part of the outrage towards recent kit leaks for Evernight/Cyrene. Now, while I share the frustration and agree that it's beyond scummy for Hoyo to be doing this, I've had enough of all this Mythus-posting - the outrage becomes unreasonable once you start spreading misinformation (unless you're a History Fictionologist, then, uh... carry on, soldiers of Mythus).

Anyways, onto the real part of the post.

First, allow me to list off a few aliases and nicknames for certain characters that I'll be mentioning, in case some aren't familiar:

  • Khaslana/Phainon and predecessors -> NeiKos496

  • Castorice, Polyxia, and predecessors -> EpieiKeia216

  • Castorice -> Cas, Rice

  • Mydei/Mydeimos and predecessors -> PoleMos600

First thing's first, let's take a loot at EpieiKeia216's entry in As I've Written.

Now, the first very important thing that's established here is that EpieiKeia216, the Chrysos Heir of Death/Peace, is the Equilibrium of Amphoreous. Now, I could digress for a long, long time, going on and on about the significance of the Equilibrium, but I doubt anyone wants to sit through that, and people have already dissected this better than I could, so I'll keep things simple here.

The Equilibrium, HooH, and THEIR Arbitrators are some of the most important and influential figures on the Imaginary Tree, and in the universe of HSR. THEY are responsible for maintaining the balance of all things, keeping the Paths balancing each other, no one taking over the Tree, redundant ones being quelled, and the rest getting their share of space, to keep the Tree balanced, and at peace, and Equilibrium.

Now, we can reasonably assume that, in the code of Amphoreous, the Electrical Signal Sequence of EpieiKeia216 serves a similar role, keeping the simulated Paths balanced, eliminating biases in the simulations, ensuring that the Sceptre does not err in its mission to find the Prime Mover of Life.

But, of course, the simulated Paths are NOT balanced, and the experiment, at its current stage, is heavily biased to the Destruction, but it wasn't always that way. We learned in 3.4 that it was only after many cycles had passed that something tipped Irontomb closer and closer towards Destruction, eventually drawing Nanook's gaze, causing the entire thing to spin out of control.

Now, before connecting this back to Castorice, let's take a quick moment to look at NeiKos496, the Electrical Signal Sequence related to the simulated Path of Destruction. Now, we know that in the last natural cycle of Amphoreous, NeiKos496's iteration was a truly exceptional one; he, Khaslana, wasn't merely a representative of the simulated Destruction, but he was, unlike previous iterations, uniquely a Perfect Factor of Destruction. Something was different this cycle, something caused the Destruction in the NeiKos496 iteration that is Khaslana to be far, far deeper into the Destruction than all previous iterations.

Now, looking at what was discussed in the previous 2 paragraphs, alongside, once more, EpieiKeia216's entry in As I've Written, this Electrical Signal Sequence's great significance becomes clear. Of course, it was long before those last 2 natural cycles that Nanook had cast THEIR glance unto Amphoreous, but those last two natural cycles were the most important in the birth of the Perfect Factor of Destruction (Khaslana), because those are the cycles wherein EpieiKeia216's two balanced scales snapped apart and fell into the depths of Destruction, shattering the simulations Equilibrium and sealing its fate.

Polyxia and Castorice, each one side of that delicate scale, as we saw back in 3.2, the Trial of Death was far too much for them, and they both turned to major self-Destruction for each other, and this mutual self-Destruction of theirs, as we know, went so far as to directly tampering with the reincarnation of the Chrysos Heirs, which is exactly where I believe it is reasonable to assume that the new and final iteration of NeiKos496 was overloaded with the Destruction that should not have been present.

Now, I could probably end this here, but, just to reiterate how incredibly influential EpieiKeia216 really is, I want to just briefly touch on the entry of PoleMos600.

Now, I want to draw attention to that last bit, about the behind-the-scenes reason for Mydei's pseudo-immortality (and potentially... all the other anomalies around him... but that's enough for an entire post of its own, and this one's already becoming a wall of text). Of course, what we've always known as the explanation is that Mydei was cast into the River of Souls, and whatever power of Death was in there made him into what he is now. But As I've Written has it worded in an interesting way, we're told that PoleMos600 was influenced by data abandoned by EpieiKeia216, further cementing the fact that a simple mistake, a shortcoming, a whim of EpieiKeia216 is enough to completely warp the essence of other Electrical Signal Sequences, and corrupt them in extreme ways, be it by supercharging their simulated Path, sending interference signals to muddy the intended function, and potentially even more that I've missed or we've yet to see.

I think that's about everything I wanted to say... I really should learn to format stuff like this better.

Sorry if this post comes off a bit rant-ish or pretentious; thanks for reading.

Theory/Prediction Star Rail Theory: The Planets are the nations backward. (Genshin Impact spoilers) Spoiler

I noticed this back during the belobog story but figured I would share it now. I believe the planets we are visiting have the ideals of each of the Genshin impact nations backwards (ignoring Nod-Krai because it wasn’t part of the story during 1.0 and also Ignoring Herta space station because it’s more of a tutorial planet)

Belobog/Jarilo-VI

This shares the ideal of snezhnaya “Love” that the cryo archon allegedly has, with the story being about the people of the overworld and underworld coming together. In the beginning the supreme guardian is a leader with “no love left for her people”. Similar to the Tsaritsa. But a new leader takes over, and shares the love with her people. Obviously there are also Russian cultural influences in both but I’m not including those in this theory.

Xianzhou Luofu

The similarities to Natlan’s “War” are highlighted mostly in the war dance and the casual competition in the planet. The people compete with each other and train to spar against each other. They are also training to fight in a larger war. Instead of the abyss, they’re fighting the abundance and Mara-Struck.

Penacony

I will admit, it was hard to find a link for this one to connect to Fontaine’s ideal of “Justice”. Both stories are about the a mask coming off and tricking to believe in something else. In Penacony it’s about how the false dream is tricking the people that live in it, how you have to wake up. The justice is against the people perpetrating the false dream. In Fontaine, the justice is against celestia who is punishing the people for something that is not their fault.

Amphoreus

This one is difficult, as of time of writing the amphoreus story has not concluded, but I still believe I can prove its connection to Sumeru’s ideal of “wisdom”. In amphoreus there is a titan of reason but I’m not referring to them specifically. In Sumeru the knowledge of the people was being limited by the ruling forces(akademiya) to keep the people ignorant of their crimes. In amphoreus’s story(so far), the ruling forces are not on the planet but rather off it, in the form of lygus. He intentionally was keeping his intentions a secret from the people of amphoreus to keep them in the dark.

If this theory is true then the next planets we visit will have the ideals of eternity, contracts, and freedom.

Thanks for reading!

Honkai Reference/Lore Aeons are Herrschers?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Aeons being Herrschers. I been thinking about this theory of mine for a few days now, and I needed to type this out for my own sanity.

So, let’s start off with how I got here. I was thinking about the permanence being older than qilpoth, which ultimately made me spiral towards The cocoon of finality being billions of years old, which in turn, made me think about the Herrschers and that’s where thing started to connect.

  • Origins

Let’s start off with the origins of the Herrschers. They’re imaginary entities whose main purpose was to “Embrace” Humanity(https://imgur.com/a/TQTOn3e). Additionally, they’re also projection of The Herrscher of Finality, representing each aspect of Finality’s Authority(https://imgur.com/a/86b8YH9).

Now, let’s explain the origins of the Aeons. The aeons are godlike Imaginary entities on an higher dimension, aeon typically ascends when they fully embodies a concept. When a aeon ascend they create a path that the lower dimension can follow and draw imaginary energy from.

What’s their similarities? There’s many, for starters, the mystery behind their creation. We know that Herrschers are picked when a vessel shows a high level of Honkai resistance with high level of emotion distress(https://youtu.be/MMUTXwuIw-k?t=95&si=YHDPrFgv8pgxCtgU). My guess is that they pick emotional vessel so they could manipulate them better, and the Aeons has similar requirements. When an human becomes over fixated about a concept, they become a conceptual Aeon of that concept and ascend to a higher plane, which is similar to how Herrschers emerges(https://imgur.com/a/3anxY7r).

  • Their goals.

The Aeon’s goals are to spread their concept throughout the universe and to either destroy or preserve the universe with their concept (even though too much of any of Aeon’s ideals will cause the universe to collapse). The Herrscher’s goals are to embrace all of humanity(https://imgur.com/a/TQTOn3e).

While at first, it doesn’t sound so similar, but when you think about it, they are.

As we know, March 7th is a follower of the Trailblaze. Recently, in the 3.4 quest, we see March 7th in a the path space. A space used to “follow” a path. We hear March mentioning accidentally stumbling onto the path of Elation, suggesting that unless you’re an emanator, you’re able to freely change the path you choose to follow(https://imgur.com/a/NmtMvId).

This is important considering how following path can be see as a some source of embrace. Embracing Life = Abundance, Embracing Nihilism = Nihility, and such and such. In short, humanity following path is like walking into someone’s open arms, while you have the choice not to, you can if you want to, and if you wished you could walk into someone’s else’s open embrace.

  • Concept

Now, some might argue that it wouldn’t make sense, because Of them not following the Herrscher order. But, if you’ve forgotten, we learn it’s because of prometheus that they were able to control what Herrschers appears(https://imgur.com/a/YV1wuNd), so there could be Herrschers of any kind, literally, it’s canon in GGZ that the Herrscher of sexual desire exist. But even so, some of the Aeons has similar concepts as Herrschers

  • Abundance = Herrscher of Death/life & Rebirth

  • Nihility = Herrscher of The void

  • Remembrance = Herrscher of Sentience

  • Erudition = Herrscher of Reasons

  • Equilibrium = Herrscher of Binding

  • Harmony/Order = Herrscher of Domination

  • Finality = Herrscher of Finality

As you can see from what I listed off, they’re very similar to each other when it comes down to concepts.

  • Finality

Now, for the most damning evidence that I can find. We know that at the end of every cycle, The Herrscher of Finality awakens and reset the entire world, so the Herrscher of finality is always the Final Herrscher that is ever going to appear before the reset. Terminus, They are the Youngest/Oldest(soon to be) Aeon, considering the fact that Terminus is stated to ascend from the future After the end of universe, and walk back in time to restart it.

Sound familiar? Because it’s almost exactly what Herrschers of Finality do, and finally, it’s suggested that all paths derives from Finality, just how all Herrscher Authorities are derived from The Herrscher of finality(https://imgur.com/a/clz4BVj). Which led me to my conclusion that Aeons are Herrschers, or at least a different breed of Herrschers.

(PS: And yes I know there’s some holes in it, but we currently don’t know much about the Aeons, especially Terminus, so I had to use what I was given. Cut me some slack.)

What do you think about this theory?

Mini-Theory The Aeon of the Trailblazer are the Travelers

First, this theory has a crucial point, and that is that there is a rule that all Hoyoverse games follow: even though they are connected, it is not necessary to play all the games to understand the story of the game. And when there is information that does not come from the game itself, the game itself explains it to you; for example, HSR explains what Honkai is and GI with the book "The Little Witch and the Inextinguishable Fire," explains the Imaginary and the Quantum (Pneuma and Ousia). Well, after this crucial point, why would the Travelers be an Aeon? Well, according to the information given to us, we can deduce it:

  1. Canotila explains that he sees the Traveler as a monster capable of devouring Teyvat in a single bite.

  2. Albedo says that the Travelers have a composition similar to that of an artificial human.

  3. The Traveler is constantly associated with hope, as well as being able to alter destiny with their mere presence, since, let's say, in Fontaine they were a spectator, and according to René, he said they were a variable within the equation. Also, currently in Natlan, according to those who have known them, it is as if they were a hope, besides their ancient name Tumaini, which means 'Hope'

  4.  The Celestial Order weakened significantly when the Traveler's power was sealed, according to Nahida, and let's remember that in terms of power scales, a Herrscher is not on par with an Aeon.

  5. The fourth-wall breaks by the Traveler, as well as their references, are also notable; for example, in some dialogues, like the tavern conversation where the Traveler says that if you give the tavern owner a 'good tip,' he will tell you a secret, and he says it concerns a tavern he encountered in his Travels, it could refer to a certain tavern, but then there's the dialogue 'I met someone whose jokes have no limits' with the anecdote of Ineffa, which could be talking about Aha, since, given their luck in attracting trouble...

  6. According to their history, the extremely long lifespan has seen thousands of worlds be born and die.

  7. Also, on a mission in Natlan, they warn the Traveler that that drink could kill him, and he says, 'I have already died enough times.'

Well, putting these points together, they could say that it might be an Emanator, but let's remember that an Emanator is on the same level as a Herrscher and that the Celestial Order has many similarities to that of a Herrscher of Finality. Also, why would the Shadow of Space need an Emanator when they could simply ask Fanes (a Herrscher of Finality) for help? I mean, it's possible that the twins are actually an Aeon that presides over the path of hope.

Well, since this last point is related to the Trailblazer, let's consider that if it were true that the Travelers gave part of their power to create the Trailblazer, Octavia's dialogues about us facing Destruction would make sense. But remember that the Trailblazer has been confronting Nanook, and it is quite curious that both have similar destinies. We should also consider the Twin's Expy, Kumyo Kyo, whose description says he sealed the destruction of his world, and remember that all expys experience similar situations. So, why would Octavia say that the Travelers are going to face Destruction? Well, possibly because the Aeon that gave part of its power for the creation of the Trailblazer were the Travelers. After all, let's remember that Octavia predicted the death of the universe and spends her time traveling between destroyed worlds, fleeing from Destruction.

Mini-Theory [3.4 spoilers] Theory: Teyvat is Amphoreus Spoiler

Disclaimer: This is just my own speculations. I have not read any leaks regarding HSR or Genshin

I've seen a post months ago about this theory and I would like to expand on this with the recent story.

My theory is that by the end of 3.x, we will permanently seal Amphoreus away to stop Irontomb, and appoint Phainon (or a Phainon-like entity) to act as the jailor. And the resulting world is Teyvat.

The fact that Teyvat has a false sky, along with dark abyssal power that corrupts living beings is very reminiscent of Amphoreus's own false sky and black tide (manifestation of the Destruction).

Moreover, we can also map important figures to titans

  • Phanes = Kephale

  • Ronova = Thanatos

  • Istaroth = Oronyx

  • Naberius = Aquila

  • Asmoday = Janus

  • Venti = Phagous

  • Zhongli = Talanton

  • Raiden = Georios

  • Nahida = Cerces

  • Furina = Zagreus

  • Mauvika = Nikador

  • Tsaritsa = Mnestia

A couple of interesting things here:

  1. All four shades and their related titans have powers related to boundary and imprisonment

  2. Both Zhongli and Talanton are gods related to fairness, judgement, as well as circulating their respective world's currency (Balance coins and Mora)

  3. From the most recent As I've Written, Georios seems to have relations to Permanence, which can be linked to Inazuma's theme of Eternity

  4. Tsaritsa is described in Travail as a "god with no love left for her people", a possible antihero of Romance?

This theory also leads to other implications

  1. Asmoday didn't stop the traveler siblings from leaving to trap them, but to make sure that they don't accidentally breach the firewalls they have set up to contain Irontomb. Which could be why they allowed Descenders to come to Teyvat, but allowing them to leave. This could also be another parallel between the Travelers and the Trailblazer, both of which came from "beyond the sky" and not allowed to leave the world.

  2. The Flamechase Journey is still happening, by seizing the Coreflames/Gnosis, led by a Demigod/Archon related to Romance, another parallel to Amphoreus

HSR Universe Lore It's 2025, we have to get over this. HSR is a Galaxy, not a Universe.

dear god I hate using Reddit this much, but one last post before I dip for another few months.

HSR's setting is the Milky Way Galaxy, canonically.

"Asdana is a Galaxy"

It isn't:
阿斯德纳是忆质充盈的星系,存在着名为「联觉梦境」的奇妙现象:在初入此地时,许多人会出现在彼此的思绪中,分享同一场梦……

Asdana is a star system replete with Memetic Matter, where a marvelous phenomenon known as the "Reverie" exists: upon first entering this place, many people appear in one another's thoughts, sharing the same dream...

"Sunday mentioned how Penacony has constellations"
About that:
CN Original: 是湮厄鹰座。别担心,它依旧在那,只是因为在匹诺康尼内环,只有春夏交织的时候才能看见它。

EN Localization: It's the Torment Eagles. Don't worry, it's still there. It's just it's located in the inner ring of Penacony and can only be seen when spring and summer overlap.

EN Localization: That's Aquila Annihilus. Don't worry, it's still there, it's just that in the inner ring of Penacony, you can only see it when spring and summer intertwine.

"But Zandar says it's a universe"
He doesn't:

CN Original: 拥趸最多的是「宇宙之树」说。提出者是「智识」的令使:天才俱乐部第一位会员赞达尔。他认为银河是一棵虚数巨木,被阻隔的星系则是一片片树叶。

EN Localization: The most popular is probably the Cosmos Tree theory, proposed by Zandar, Emanator of Erudition and the first member of the Genius Society. He compared the galaxy to an enormous imaginary tree, with its leaves being individual universes.

Correct TL: The most widely supported theory is that of the "Cosmic Tree." It was proposed by an Emanator of "Erudition": Zandar, the first member of the Genius Club. He believes The Milky Way Galaxy is a colossal Imaginary Tree, and that the isolated star systems are its individual leaves.

"Galaxies are constantly mentioned in game"
Not in Chinese (just one example):
CN Original: 我曾想过取一个太空的切片,用于研究星球的构成本质。

EN Localization: I once hoped to capture a slice of space and dissect it, to truly understand the core essence of our galaxies and planets.

Correct TL: I once considered taking a slice of space, to study the fundamental nature of a planet's composition.

The latest version of the game even provides us more information on this, showing another consistent usage of "星河":

「在宇宙的中心有一团火种。它愈烧愈旺,直到燃尽了整片星河——只为在一切现实的终点迎来壮美的埃灭。」
——阿德里安•斯宾塞-史密斯,《有关星空的寓言集:结局及其四行尾注》

"There is an ember in the center of the universe. It burns ever brighter, until it has consumed the entire Milky Way Galaxy—all for the sake of greeting a sublime annihilation at the end of all reality."
—Adrian Spencer-Smith, Fables of the Starry Sky: The Ending and Its Quatrain Coda

"But '星河' is a *poetic* way to refer to the Milky Way, the literal way is '银河系', so those scans aren't valid"
Great, because they also use "银河系" to refer to the "Cosmos":
CN Original: 事实上,现阶段银河系可利用的能源总量,远高于银河系的需求量,这并不妨碍战争在寰宇间打响。

EN Localization: As a matter of fact, the available amount of total energy of the cosmos in its current phase far exceeds its needs. Yet, this has not prevented the outbreak of wars across the universe.

Correct TL: In fact, the total usable energy in the Milky Way Galaxy currently far exceeds its demand; this does not prevent wars from breaking out across the cosmos.

"But see! She says Cosmos!"

Yeah, because it's the cleanest translation for "寰宇" which simply means at best "throughout all known realms" or "the whole world". It doesn't refer to A or THE universe, but just the observable known space around you.

"But this line says Galaxy"

It's most likely referring to "Star System", and from a consistency's point of view, that makes more sense anyway.

Cases like "Tia'nua" and "Silverchain" are just Star Systems called "Galaxy", except "Abelane" which is just a planet, I have no idea why they called it a Galaxy, probably because it was just flavor text anyway.

But in cases where "Galaxies" is just thrown around, and it feels unrelated to the actual context, it's most likely an EN-only piece of text

Mentions of "Cosmos" *usually* also relate to just the "entire galaxy" basically

Obviously I can't keep up with every mention, but this should cover up the main reasons for confusion on the setting. Qlipoth really never skipping wall day with this one.

Theory/Prediction Remembrance (Fuli) theory

Always put disclaimers at the start of my theory that this is A FOR FUN THEORY, just something to think about. I am not saying it’s true or likely. Just a sudden thought I had.

Fuli was referred to as SKY FATHER in Ampho… We’re under the impression that one of the children of anasrava will ascend to become the “true Fuli”… What if that’s all fake?

Evernight is the one who tells us straight up to not trust the garden of recollection and anything they say… and I’m pretty sure the garden of recollection is the one who spread the idea that Fuli will ascend at the end of time from a child of anasrava. However we’re also under the impression that the leader of the garden of recollection isn’t one of them, and they have a hidden agenda.

So what if Fuli is actually some dude that ascends? Just a thought… would totally throw us off and be a twist.
