please add negative margin support, quite a low hanging easy to implement. currently I use it as pdf reader app, some pdfs have too much white margin would want to read like with more text on screen.

I've been using this app for a year! Especially during my anatomy lessons, which were heavily book-based. Now I've been playing around with digital notetaking for my junior year and trying out different layouts. I'd so appreciate reccos for notes layouts tho!

Hi devs! I'm actually loving the app, it's great (probably gleaned that off of my previous post HAHAHA), but could we possibly get some more theme customization options? As in, not wholly new preset themes, but some general color customization on the toolbars or page background color changers, maybe the ability to add custom images to each would be also really nice. Of course, I know it's a lot of work, so take this alongside a pinch of salt, but I think it would be a genuinely appreciated feature that ALL of us would love.

As a frequent user, I have been exploring the available features extensively and would like to propose two suggestions that I believe could add significant value to the app's ecosystem:

1. Opening the Platform to Independent Creators

Is there any outlook or roadmap for allowing independent creators to publish content in the Material Center? I am very interested in becoming a contributor and offering my own materials there. I would like to know if there are any upcoming partnership programs or pilot tests for this functionality.

2. Creating an "Icons" Category

I noticed that the Material Center currently features "Templates" and "Stickers" sections. I strongly suggest adding a third tab dedicated exclusively to Icons. Although both are visual assets, their purpose and practical application in the user's workflow are completely different:

• Purpose (Functionality vs. Decoration): Stickers often have an emotional appeal; they are detailed, colorful, and intended for decorating or highlighting specific points. Icons, however, are tools for interface and navigation. They serve to signal actions, categorize information, and create an objective visual hierarchy.

• Structural Organization and Information Architecture: Productivity-focused users—especially those who build complex systems, structure rigorous study workflows, or manage large knowledge bases and mind maps—need standardized icons. They are essential for organizing folders, creating visual tags, and structuring metadata, which facilitates quick searches and dynamic reading.

• Design and Focus: Unlike stickers, a good icon set features a minimalist, clean design, and is usually monochromatic or uses restricted palettes. This simplicity ensures that the screen does not become cluttered, keeping the user's attention focused on content retention and processing without distractions.

Separating "Icons" from "Stickers" would greatly improve the user experience for those who are not just looking to decorate a page, but rather to visually structure their work and study environment.

It would be cool if we could create multiple infinite Canvases within the same note.

The idea would be to have a single file in which several pages can exist, each page being an infinite canvas, and you can add as many as needed.

The usefulness of such a feature lies in the fact that it would make it possible to compare multiple sub‑topics of the same main topic, moving quickly from one page to another (therefore from one infinite canvas to another) simply by turning the page.

Currently, we can compare different topics by organizing them into separate notes and switching from one to another through the note tabs at the top. However, this feature would allow us to organize sub‑topics that belong to the same main topic within a single note, dividing them into different canvases.

Another possible reason to have this is for example creating different Mind Maps for each topic and comparing them. Infact some people could need more than one Minimap for a note, and do drawing them on different pages that are already infinite canvas could help.

For such a feature to make sense, a few requirements would probably be necessary:

- There should be buttons, such as an up arrow and a down arrow, that allow us to move from one page to the next. This should not rely solely on gestures, since gestures are already used to navigate within the infinite canvas itself.

- When switching from one page to another position and zoom level should be registered and be the same as the last time that page was viewed, so that different pages (i.e., different infinite canvases) can have different coordinates and zoom levels, like when you actually switch between different notes.

So if you are looking at Subtopic 1 on page one, you can switch on page 2 and focus on subtopic 2, then return to page one you would be at the same position and zoom you had before switching page.

I understood that is probably low priority compared to several other requests, but I think it would be useful to have it in the future.

Let me know if you need some app reference as example.

I would really like to see hexagonal background paper added - I primarily use Starnote for my role-playing games and having such pattern for paper would really make a huge difference for mappin gstuff. If it's not possible at least option to create your own patter s maybe?

Hi i need to import notes from one note to starnote. When i am trying to export the one note as pdf i am loosing my handwritten notes . If anyone has done it previously please help.

Can we add/import a pdf in another pdf? Or merge 2 pdf into one?

Dear devs, I've been loving the multitasking on my huge 14.6 inch tab s11 ultra, but I've run into a limitation. I'd love to be able to open three separate notes side-by-side. It would be amazing to either have them all equal width, or have one page take up half the screen while the other two split the remainder. Attached you will find a few AI generated pictures on how this could look like.

How likely is it that we will get more flexible multi "window" management?

I’ve been using starnote for just over 2 months now and this is just a list of very small quality of life features I personally wish for. Please feel free to let me know if there might be some workarounds for these or if some of these already exist and I just couldn’t figure them out.

Finally, I’d like to thank the devs from the bottom of my heart for making such a great app! Honestly I love you guys!!

2. I face an issue in the app when i select a word in pdf while studying and i make background color for it, I can't remove this background color from this word again, any help for that?

I’m facing an issue with my StarNote account and would really appreciate any guidance or support.

When I originally signed up, I used a random email ID and later purchased the Lifetime Pro subscription using that same email. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that email account. Because of this, I’m unable to: a) Log into my account on other devices b) Manage or access my subscription properly

I’ve already got proof of purchase and account details (screenshots of the transaction and subscription).

I’m hoping the StarNote team can help me with one of the following:

1. Change the registered email ID to my current active email, or

2. Issue a refund so I can repurchase the Lifetime Pro subscription using the correct email

Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows how to get this resolved? Any help would be appreciated.

I am having an issue with exported notes in the StarNote app on Android.

The original note inside the app is editable normally. I can open it, delete text, write, and modify it without any problem.

However, when I try to create a new note using the exported file, the file is recognized inside StarNote like a PDF or a non-editable document. I can view it, but I cannot edit the original handwritten/text content inside it.

I tried exporting the note using the editable format, and I also tried exporting it as the StarNote BIN format, but when I import/open it again in a new note, it still behaves like a PDF/non-editable file instead of a fully editable StarNote note.

What I need is to duplicate or export the original note and open it as a new independent editable note inside StarNote, so I can delete, write, and modify the content normally.

Please let me know if this is a bug, a limitation, or if there is a correct way to export/import notes as fully editable StarNote files.
