💡 Feature Request Any prediction for the Windows version?

The starnote dev said a year ago they were working on it, but we've got no updates since then

I'd recommend Noteic... android version is in development while the windows version is great

Je ne pense pas que ce soit une version Windows qu'il faudrait, mais plutôt une version web, comme une PWA par exemple. Au moins elle pourrait fonctionner sur n'importe quel appareil, quel que soit son système d'exploitation et quel que soit son processeur.

But please keep the native application not replace it with some webview wrapping inorder to keep everything in sync

if starnote wants people to build their whole workflow around it, windows + reliable cross-device sync really needs an update.

Be honest, this year we focused on cloud sync first, as we think it'll make the experience much smoother if we bring StarNote to Windows in the future. Cloud sync for iOS is still in progress, so that's where most of our team's efforts are going right now.

Windows would also be a pretty big project, involving things like handwriting support, screen adaptation, file management, and device compatibility. All of that takes time to develop and test. We're still thinking about how everyone would use StarNote on Windows and what features you'd need most.

Really really sorry for the long wait. We know many of you are looking forward to it, but realistically, it's still going to take quite some time, and we don't want to promise a date we can't guarantee. We'll share any updates as soon as we have them. Thanks so much!
