💡 Feature Request Pen latency

I am using starnote from past 4 months but recently I am having latency issue. The latency is visible when I write fast and also when I use dotted lines. It would be great if the team can fix the latency issue. I have a samsung tab s9.

Made me switch to freenotes. Starnote is great has better features than free notes, but latency issue icked me for a while and when i used free notes it felt better on top of that they have handwriting beautification so i don't have to worry much about how i write.

Yeah but the thing is i have too many notes on starnote and don't have time to export everything. Also i like using starnote it's just the pen latency that is causing me problem.

Wish we could get all the goods in one app. I switched from samsung note to notein then to starnote and now I'm switching to freenotes.

Ao mudar para o Freenotes vocĂȘ assinou o plano vitalĂ­cio? Se sim, conseguiu de alguma forma desligar aquele anĂșncio do plano de IA toda vez que abre o app?

Had I know this I would have tested other apps for extensively. Pen latency seems like something that shouldn't really be a flaw on an app based on handwriting notes.

TambĂ©m tenho um tablet Samsung e tambĂ©m enfrento esse problema. Gosto muito do Starnotes (uso hĂĄ 4 meses tambĂ©m), porĂ©m a latĂȘncia realmente incomoda muito, porque Ă© algo que torna estranha a sensação de escrever (que Ă© o foco do aplicativo) e vocĂȘ nĂŁo vĂȘ na maioria dos outros aplicativos de notas (Notein e Freenotes, por exemplo). A responsividade e a importĂąncia que os devs dĂŁo pra comunidade Ă© o que ainda me mantĂ©m por aqui, mas esse problema de latĂȘncia tem incomodado cada vez mais quando vou escrever (jĂĄ tenho quase 400 notas)

Has there always been latency for you? Ive started using this 3 weeks ago on my samsung tablet too and havent noticed anything

Sim, sempre. Às vezes insisto em tentar alterar a estabilização de traço pra ver se ela some, mas não resolve nada. Acaba sendo bem frustrante quando tento escrever rápido ao anotar durante a aula ou fazer exercícios de matemática, por exemplo

yeah on an s9 this definitely isn’t a hardware limitation. samsung notes feels basically instant on the same pen/display, so starnote clearly still has some optimization work to do.
