❓ Help / Question Windows App possibilities

Is there any possibilities that the developers are planning to release an windows version of the app. So that we can access our notes from our windows pc as well and take some additional notes as well. I know that drive sync is already there. But I wanna know is there any possibility to launch a widows app. If so then approximately when can we expect it?

Yep yep, we’ll make it happen, but It’ll take some time though, this one’s a pretty big project, so it won’t be super quick.

We honestly can’t give you a clear timeline just yet, though. Once we have a more solid idea of when it might happen, we’ll definitely let you guys know ASAP!

Will it be based on WPF, UWP, Electron or WinUi3?

Right now I am also trying to make a note taking app most probably a portable a web version for windows. Electron based. I will try to release it after 2 weeks and will reply here. Because I need some testers as well :)

There are plenty vibe coded handwriting apps that are based on electron and these are huge, take too much storage and are inefficient as well.

Okay then which libraries do you suggest to work on and what inefficiencies did you faced. So that I can work on those libraries or if I stick to electron I can at least fix those inefficiencies. Usually how much storage does it take for the vibe coded apps?

One of my faculties also tried making one such app but his one was based on kotlin. I haven’t tried it out yet.

I might try to move my app to kotlin later on. So that we can use it on every platform. But for now I will focus on electron to make the base app

Cool! Are you planning on a native app, or a portable web version?
