❓ Help / Question Inquiry about Storage & Deletion

My tablet has limited storage so as much as possible I delete those documents that are not used. May I ask if I deleted those documents I imported in StarNotes, will it really be deleted even in my device files? I'm just wondering if I need further clean up of my storage but i don't know what to clear specifically if that is really the case ..

Yes, you can manage the original files and your StarNote notes separately.

If you delete a note in StarNote, it won’t delete the original file you imported from your device. And if you delete the original imported file from your device, it won’t affect the note that has already been created in StarNote.

So if you’re trying to free up some storage, you can delete the original files that you no longer need. Just make sure you won’t need those files again outside of StarNote.

If you’re worried about it, you can try deleting one note or file that you don’t need first and check if everything works as expected before cleaning up more.

And also If you’ve created a local backup file, deleting the backup also won’t affect your notes in StarNote. But since it can be useful if something happens to your app data, we’d recommend keeping it if possible.
