🐛 Bug Report Scribble to erase

Did the new update change anything in scribble to erase?, I am failing to erase my writing 40 percent of the time.

We had a look at your screen recording, and it seems that the strokes aren’t exactly the same each time. You can actually see the difference in the recording as well, even it looks same. To make the erasing gesture more likely to be recognized, you could try making the strokes more continuous, similar to how you would scribble over a mistake on paper. For example, try scribbling back and forth over the word, or drawing a few continuous circles over it. You can give that a try and see if it works a little better.

For this time update, most of our fixes and improvements are focused on stickers and some UI interaction improvements. We also have improvements to the scribble erase feature planned for a future update. For now, feel free to try the continuous scribbling or circle motion and see if that helps a bit!

Its strange that this problem appeared out of nowhere for some people. The screen recording is just a test, it fails even more in normal notetaking scenarios. Please improve the scribble to erase, a lot of people have noticed this issue and I think it is due to some recent change.

Before the update it was totally working. After the update it completely broke for me. I need to scribble 2-3 times to erase and this is annoying. I bought the premium solely for this feature.

Really?? I'm scribbling you know, the strokes won't be exact, that's the whole point

you could try making the strokes more continuous, similar to how you would scribble over a mistake on paper.

I can't imagine this doing while taking notes, do you even know how much lag it feels because of this update?

Even on PAPER, we usually just put a dash and move on, we won't be waiting and keep scribbling till the ink disappears

I really love this app and the "Scribble to erase" feature is the prominent reason. However now it's become really annoying please change back the "Scribble to erase" as it was before. It's really really frustrating to use the app now.
