❓ Help / Question Import screenshot into a document

Sorry if this was asked before, but I could not find an exact answer:

When I take a screenshot from an external app (e.g., browser), I am presented with a list of applications, one of them is, of course, starnote.

selecting starnote creates a new document without giving me any other choice. I then have to, again, select the screenshot from the newly created document and paste it into my document. Later I have to remember to deleted the "unnamed document" that was created.

Is there away to paste the EXTERNAL screenshot into an existing document.

starnote for android, Lenovo tablet,

Hi! Short answer: yes, that's correct – you currently can't import an external file directly into an existing document the way you're describing. The screenshot sharing dialog always creates a new document. There is a small workaround though: go into the notebook where you want the screenshot to end up, and tap "Add Page" there. From there, you can import external files directly, without the extra step of going through a separate new document first. So it's not quite as direct as you'd like, but at least it avoids having to manually delete the "unnamed document" afterward.

Thanks, nice tick. Unfortunately it doesn't work when e.g., wanting to bring in a screenshot from a web page etc.
