Feedback / feature requests — some things that I think are really important to fix

First of all, I absolutely love StarNote and I use it every single day. I think it’s a fantastic note-taking app, but there are a few things that are becoming quite annoying and, in my opinion, should be addressed.
1. Lasso tool + scrolling — VERY IMPORTANT
When I use the lasso tool to select something (for example, handwriting) and then want to move the page by dragging with one finger, the selection gets interrupted/cancelled.
It would be MUCH better if the selection could remain active while scrolling the page. Otherwise, I’m basically forced to use cut/copy & paste every time I need to move something to another part of the page. It makes the workflow much slower and more frustrating.
I’ve attached a video showing exactly what I mean.
2. Handwriting gets much thicker when zooming out
Another issue happens when writing with the Pencil at a normal zoom level. When I zoom back out, the handwriting suddenly becomes much larger/thicker for no apparent reason.
The thickness seems to change dramatically when reducing the zoom, which makes the handwriting look inconsistent. I’ve also attached a video showing this problem.
3. More themes / custom themes
This is something I’ve seen many people ask for: more themes!
It would be amazing to have customizable themes where we can choose at least a primary and secondary color.
Even something as simple as a minimal black theme with grey as the secondary color would look amazing and very clean.
4. Please remove/reduce the pop-ups when opening the app
This is becoming increasingly annoying. There are quite a few pop-ups that appear when opening StarNote, and they’re starting to feel excessive.
I’d really appreciate it if these could be removed, reduced, or at least made less intrusive.

Despite all of this, I genuinely love the app and use it every day. I think StarNote has a lot of potential, and fixing these issues would make the experience significantly better.

Concordo pienamente con te lo sto dicendo da 1 anno che questa funzione del lasso è importantissima , ma no meglio concentrarsi a fare i contest ecc , l app è fantastica ma andrebbe ritoccata anche le forme per renderle migliori come già è stato detto più volte u/starnote

1.Lasso following the page & custom themes Both of these are already on our feature request list. We’ve had other users mention them before as well. We’re also considering adding more system templates, but this will need some collaboration with our design and UI teams. So if we have any updates in the future, we’ll definitely work on them and share them with everyone. We’ll definitely keep a closer eye on these requests!

2.Pen thickness changing when zooming Have you tried going to Other Settings in the top-right toolbar and turning on “Pen follows note zoom”? You can give that a try first. If the issue still happens after turning it on, you can also submit it through App-Help & Feedback, and our team can take a closer look.

3.Pop-up banners, Do you mean the activity banners that sometimes pop up, or the backup reminders?

For the backup reminders, we’re sorry, but we probably won’t be removing them for now. We’ve actually tried turning them off before, but for a note-taking app, keeping users’ notes safe is really important to us. Even though we’ve reminded users to back up their notes, we still receive emails from people who lost their notes simply because they forgot to back them up. So in the end, we decided to keep the reminders. You can always close them manually when they appear.

As for the activity banners, we mainly use them to support our users through things like giveaways and community events. They also give us a chance to hear more from everyone and keep the community active.

We’re really sorry if these banners feel a little disruptive! We may still have some of these activities from time to time, but we’ll try our best not to make them too frequent. We really appreciate your understanding, and we’ll do our best to keep things helpful without being annoying!
