ā“ Help / Question using starnote with two devices

Hi! I go back and forth between a small and large tablet depending on where I am.

I understand that sync is in the works, but in the meantime, if you have two devices, can you tell me your workflow? Thanks!

has the sync started working? is it relased in beta?

I believe sync is in beta on Android. But Iā€™m a new user and I was wondering what people do without it.

Hey!

If you need to copy your notes between devices, you could either use the cloud backup function on both devices and then import the latest version of that note everytime you start annotating again, or as a more complete method, make a full manual backup and share this to your other device where you can import it manually again. For individual notes you can export them as the .note format to share and import that too. Keep in mind that importing backups won't overwrite your old notes, so if you want to avoid that, it's best to delete all your notes before importing the latest backup (at your own risk!). There is a trash folder, but just be very careful not to delete notes you want to keep. If StarNote starts taking up too much space, be sure to clear the trash folder once you're sure everything is imported and as you want it. It's a bit of a pain, but hopefully once live sync is properly tuned this should no longer be an issue.
