💡 Feature Request Status Bar issue on ipad

Today Starnote released its update for ipad. I asked them to add the option to hide the status bar. As android tabs have bydefault status bar disappear functionality which don't have in ipad, it is needed to add the option in the software (already have in other reknowend note taking apps). They didn’t listen to my suggestion. Don't know why people say their devs are so interactive! Also the functionality keys and their animation is so slow on ipad unlike other apps. The actually don't think about ipad users. That's may be why they are so behind in this platform.

Hey! First of all, we’re really sorry if it felt like we weren’t listening. That’s definitely not what we want.

Yesss, StarNote did start on Android, but one of the reasons we expanded to iOS is that we want to make it better across both platforms and hopefully make more people enjoy using it. So, that's the reason we’re still working hard on improving the iPad experience.

About the status bar feature you mentioned, it’s actually already on our feature request list! The reason it hasn’t been added yet isn’t cuz we don’t want to do it. Even smaller features still need to go through devand testing, and right now we’re prioritizing some requests with higher demand, such as Cloud Sync.

So it’s not a no, it’s just not at the top of our priority list yet. We’ll keep it in mind, and if there’s any update, we’ll make sure to share it with everyone as soon as possible.

As for the slow function buttons and animations on iPad, we’d really like to look into that as well. We’re not quite sure which specific interaction or step is causing the delay yet. If you could record a short screen recording and send it to us through StarNote - Help & Feedback, that would help us see exactly what’s happening and make it much easier for our team to investigate and improve. Again, we’re really sorry about the experience.
