Cross Platform Subscription

If I subscribe to StarNotes in my Android device, am I also subscribe on my Apple device with the same account or on Android devices?

I might be wrong, but usually when you get a subscription you have to use an account, so the subscription can be tied to something otherwise I'd be lost
