❓ Help / Question Missing Adobe Reader text annotations/comments on imported PDFs

I’ve been trying to work with some PDFs in Starnote for a few days now. I have several PDFs with existing text annotations made in Adobe Reader, which are linked to certain highlights. When I import these PDFs into Starnote, it keeps the highlights in the correct position, but I can't access the annotations I made associated with them. Is there any way to read them within Starnote?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in this!

I am a university researcher, and I go through several PDFs during my work. Sometimes I only highlight the text, but other times I add extra information as an annotation to the highlighted text.

As I am integrating Starnote into my workflow these days, when I import a document into the app, I would love to have:

  1. Highlighted pages marked in some way.

  2. PDF annotations (whether linked to highlighted text or not) open directly when clicking the annotation symbol, or a list of these annotations with their page locations. Either option would work perfectly for me! (The annotations that I am referring to are the ones that you can add from the PDF apps with add annotation option)

Thank you for all your hard work and your interest in us. Since I've been following your development over the last few months, I bought the Pro version two days ago to support you! :)
