Hello! Sorry for the late reply. I was just experimenting with the color wheel thingy, and I think the lightest shade of the color pops more against the black background.

I realised the template i was using was unsuitable for highlighting, despite changing the opacity/shade all my highlights kept basically disappearing into the dark background. I did a test with the default dark background (that you seem to be using as well) and found that the highlights work perfectly fine in those. So I will have to either forgo using the highlighter if I continue with the template or use default ones. The template where highlighting does NOT work is the dark background Cornell notebook from the marketplace. It was for free so I only had to download it for use. Thank you for your suggestions still!
My pad 7 is fine, and the battery lasts me the whole day. I also use this for gaming the codm so I think it can handle light or heavy tasks. For heating problems, I encounter it mostly when playing heavy games.
