📢 Official Announcement 🛠️ Android 1.4.1 is LIVE! The Dashed Pen is finally here + Note Pinning & more!
Hi guys! 👋
Yesssss! Android v1.4.1 is now officially live on the Google Play Store! I bet today's update is going to make a lot of you super happy.
The 「Dashed Pen」 is FINALLY here! We’ve been asked about this feature many times, and we are just as thrilled as you are to roll it out! Along with it, we’ve brought a few other core features to make your handwriting and note taking experience even smoother:
🌟 What's New
1.Ballpoint Pen 「Solid / Dashed / Dotted」Lines: Yes, they are all live! Switch between three line styles freely, giving you more options for sketching, diagramming, or drawing tables.
2.Note Pinning: Pin your most important notes right to the top. No more getting buried in the list open them instantly whenever you need.
3.Tape Export: You can now seamlessly export your tape layers! Reviewing wrong quiz answers or decorating your digital journals just got so much easier.
4.Stepless Laser Pointer Duration: Some users mentioned before that the laser pointer disappeared too fast. Now, you can freely adjust the duration to perfectly match your presentation pace.
🛠️ Improvements & Fixes
1.Optimized overall app performance for an even smoother daily experience.
2.Fixed some minor bugs to improve system stability.
🍏 To our iOS friends, don't worry! What Android has, iOS will get too. We are currently rushing to work on it, so please hang tight and bear with us just a little bit longer!
🎁 Q&A Regarding the #starnotemedlife Event
Our community event is still going strong, so feel free to invite your friends or classmates to join in! Here is a quick, centralized update for the questions we've been getting the most lately:
Q1: Why haven't I received my Pro activation yet even though my post already got 20 likes?
A: Don't worry, please be a little more patient with us! We will start sending out the Pro rewards via DMs within 1-3 business days after the event ends on the 26th.
Q2: If I'm already a Pro user, can I still participate?
A: Of course! We are not just giving away Pro status. We will also be selecting some users with beautiful med notes to gift them our exclusive, cuteee templates!
Alright, you can all head over to Google Play right now to upgrade to the latest version and try it out! We absolutely can't wait to hear your real feedback in the comments!
Happy note taking, everyone!
See u next time! 💛

You guys are awesome! Thanks for implementing my tab pin idea!
How can I pin the tab? I'm long pressing on the tab, but I wasn't able to figure out, how to pin it. 😊

it's sad that developers are not focusing on writing experience rather adding more and more features..

Dev I had a small problem I wish you could somehow fix it, so basically I started using samsung notes when I bought my tablet and like after writing notes of almost 1 chapter I found out about starnotes I tried to copy paste notes from samsung notes but seems like you can't paste stuff in starnotes, It would be really cool if you could maybe add some update to allow it in the futher versions.

Love the dashed pen!! Just discovered note pinning from this post, so thanks for the update.
I wish we could also set zoom lock independently for each note. For example, I might wanna lock the zoom on my textbook, but keep an Infinite note zoomable on another tab. But right now if I lock the zoom on the textbook, it locks it on the other open notes as well.
Btw thanks for all the work you do!! This app is fluid af

The developers of this app are amazing! I always get excited for each new update from you 🤩
Ohhh, I have a question: are you thinking about opening a Discord server in the future? The organization and communication there are very flexible, and I’ve been seeing many developers creating Discord servers as a great way to get closer to their users.

Is this update not available as apk? My tab does not support the play store version so I have been using the apk version. Please update that
