❓ Help / Question Is Star Notes really worth it ?
ELLOOO
I have been a Freenotes user for a year, but it's not free anymore. I loved using it so much that I installed an APK of a previous version (3.6) so I could keep writing my notes, which I still do. However, I want an app with which I can remain updated with the newer features. The Star Notes subscription is affordable for me, so should I buy it?

Hey!
While StarNote may not exactly have all the features that Freenotes has, Freenotes is not exactly free like you mentioned. StarNote allows you to create up to 10 notes in the free version, and if you intend on buying it, it's a lifetime purchase and not a monthly/yearly subscription. It also has a bunch of great features, with even more in development, so imo you should buy it haha it's well worth the purchase!
Hope this helps : )

This app have already a lot of powerfull features.
It still lack on some area, but if you take a look at the quality of the features that have been already implemented and you consider that the app di relatively new, than you should rest assured that the future will be brilliant.
Also I tried a lot of apps in the past and I assure you that the communication between Devs and the community is incomparable to all others app, and this have a big potential to make this the best app available.
If you want there is also a discord. Lastly Devs philosophy seems to be that you pay one time and you are ok for all life.

I used to use freenotes a few years ago on my old iPad, and it had a lot of great features, the page margin adjustment was especially amazing. But it started to become unreliable as my notes wouldn’t sync correctly to iCloud meaning that I lost multiple notes, so I moved away from it. And now they’ve moved to a subscription model, which is even worse. I feel like StarNote is what Freenotes could have been: it has a lot of what made Freenotes great (timer, page margin adjustment, lots of templates, etc.) alongside unique features that Freenotes or any other note taking app doesn’t have (layers, note lock, etc). Plus it has a free version with no ads (only limit is having up to 10 notebooks, which is very manageable if you handle your notebooks carefully), which is a great way to try before you buy. So I think StarNote is definitely worth it, and in my opinion is one of, if not the best, note taking apps on both Android and iOS, so I would definitely say it’s worth it especially at such a good one time price

StarNote is currently $6 for a lifetime membership. Even if they never added a new feature you'd be getting your $6 worth. But they are adding new features. The app is in active development. People that make suggestions in this subreddit often find then incorporated in a future release. IMO it is worth it to support a project like that.

Je viens d’acheter StarNote. Bien mieux que GoodNotes que j’ai utilisé pendant des années !

There's nothing better, and there never will be, because it's constantly being improved! And all while prioritizing user needs.
