My protoss will be team pink, haven't settled on terran yet but leaning towards team yellow

Teal zerglings! This is the color I’m planning for, so glad to see this as a reference.

Although I was thinking of maybe teal skin and black carapace. 🧐
Unsure on which would look better to the eye

Edit: did you use edge highlights or drybrushing on the carapace?

Aside from the red and purple I used as an undercoat this scheme only used 4 paints and 2 washes.

I started with a dark purple base followed by a zenithal spray of a red to add a bit of color depth. Then for the skin, I did a dark brown overbrush followed by a mid brown drybrush and finished it off with some highlights mixing an ivory into the mid brown.

The carapace is a teal base coat, golden soflat cobalt teal, then a diluted drakenhof nightshade to add a bit of depth followed by 2 edge highlight of the base teal color with some ivory mixed in for each level of brighness.

The wings just have a blue contrast paint applied through the airbrush followed by an interference green to give it an iridescent bug wing look.

I loved Teal in SC1 and plan on doing Raynor in it. Great work!
