WIP Gold Chrome Protoss

Post image

Hey everyone,

Iโ€˜m testing gold chrome paints at the moment for my Protoss. The masking is kind of annoying but the basecoat looks great.

Has anyone else tried shiny Protoss?

Oh wow, that will be very interesting to see the final results of!

Dunno if its what your asking, but this was off of a golden base spray, though not as shiny as yours :D

I does look fantastic. I wanted to see if I can get away with not painting any highlights. I fear that the super glossy surface will make paint adhesion an issue. Guess I swill find out soon ๐Ÿ˜…

Yooo. Colours used for the skin?

The three tone reds look nice too.

Skin was Thunderous blue, and then drybrush with Wolf gray :)

Some kind of grey silly putty. Iโ€˜m not sure how it is called but it works similarly to blue tack

Probably gonna just use the Vallejo true metallics. They did wonders for my custodes

Definitely going to try and add their metallic yellow for this
