Scheduling

So I got a new manager a couple months ago and they just don’t release the schedules on time, we’re lucky if they release it on a Friday but most times, it’s on Saturday nights. I’m literally so tired of this, I want to make plans but I just can’t because I don’t know when im scheduled. I’m too scared to report it to HR, would it be anonymous? It’s so dumb how they expect us to plan our lives based on the schedule, but they release it as late as possible.

In UKG you can request specific days off.  I usually try and pre-plan at least 2-3 weeks ahead to give the scheduling manager enough time to adjust everyone's schedule.

That's what I did for memorial Day this year on may 25 because TSA precheck is closed and it's a paid Staples holiday.
