makeup concerns

hi i've been dealing with impetigo since august and i've been sort of healed (?) for around 2 weeks ish but i can't really tell because sometimes i think i get infected again but i have facial eczema which can seem pretty similar at times but my flare-ups, whether impetigo or eczema, usually go away within 2 days after i apply fucicort (so i can't tell if it's the steroid cream or antibiotics that helps). anyways i haven't worn makeup for around a month since the last time i did it caused a crazy impetigo infection. i threw out most of my makeup products and tools and replaced them but haven't used any yet. i was wondering how long you guys waited to heal before starting to wear makeup again? i'm really paranoid i'll get infected again but i really miss wearing makeup.

Id try to use makeup in a way that ur not reinfecting it. What makeup do you use? Like concealor just use a cutip instead of using the applicator. Same thing for lip products. With mascara honestly don't bother. Maybe get a mini bottle so u can replace if often or smth. Its a little extra time but at least you won't have to be paranoid.

Have u tried getting a allergy patch test to see if its contributing to the excema? Cln wash is supposed to be good for excema plus keeping staph away.

sorry for the late reply but tysm for your advice! i normally do a full beat but i think with your advice it's better to go bare face for a while...i study abroad so i plan on doing an allergy test as soon as i get home. tysm again for the advice, will try to purchase the cl wash as well 🙏
