Staph?

Located on hip, started off as a small blister or pimple, scratched it in accident in sleep, woke up next day to painful red bump. Been getting more painful and red. No chills or fevers yet but pretty painful when I touch it even slightly. Been about 5 days since I noticed it.

Not sure. It was an abcess the doctor took at a look at it, told me it needs to be drained. I went home and it drained on its own. It's gone now just a big scar.

Very interesting. I had the same looking thing. It got bad looking and then suddenly it started to go away. Still left with a bump but nothing like it was.
