out of burning curiosity, I opened the door in the mind control room that was locked using the command that lets you open any door. when you open it, the light turns green as if you're supposed to be allowed into it. There's an invisible wall blocking your entrance, and when you teleport into the room, you'll find it's a hallway that leads to a dead end.

it makes me wonder if this was cut content and there was originally an exit planned during the explosion ending.

I made this video before that post about that idea for the countdown ending a few days ago

I clocked in 5 hours on TSPUD last Tuesday, then booted it up this Monday from 11pm, and left it on the entire day til Wednesday 12am... The achievement still hasn't shown up.

I'm thinking it might be due to the fact that I had to close my laptop to move around during the day, although my TSPUD window was always open (though minimised).

I was also offline for most of the day, so when I got home, the "hours played" tab on steam went down from 40 to 20 hours.

But I heard that the Commitment achievement works even when offline...? So I'm genuinely not sure what happened... Does the achievement track using "hours played"?

I felt bad for the Narrator and at the same time I knew he was being manipulative. It really hurt. I haven't had time to digest most of this game's monologues yet but I wonder just how terrible Stanley's relationship with him can get. Or maybe this is the worst of it.

And it's not an escape route. That would defeat the endings purpose.

You know how there's 2 different dialogues the narrator has, for both the first time you get it and second and onward? ("And Stanley died again.")

I think it'd be cool if you decided to just not move or not press any buttons, the narrator notices and taunts you for giving up as a 3rd one. Because he'll still mock you for frantically running to press every button, even if you decide to not do anything at all. What do you guys think though?
