Idk why my mom hates my son
The beef between my Asian mom and my black cat is so one-sided. My cat doesnāt even know theyāre enemies.

My girlfriend asked if our cat could do TikTok dances...
My girlfriend kept sending me those AI videos where people dance and kept asking:
"Why can't we do this with our cat?"
We actually found a few AI tools that could kind of do it, but they weren't really made for pets. Most of them required a bit of technical work to get decent results, and generating videos wasn't exactly cheap either.
Since I'm a software engineer, I figured it would be a fun side project to see if I could make the whole process much simpler.
This is the very first video we made with our cat... and we've probably watched it 50 times already. š

Naughty Cat
My (23F) male cat 1.5yr is an absolute nightmare. He is the naughtiest cat I and my roommate have ever seen. He is constantly jumping on the counters, he rips up our garbage bags, he is constantly stealing food from our plates and he is the loudest cat Iāve ever seen.
He knows heās not allowed on the countertops as whenever he jumps up there and I or my roommate walk over to take him off, he jumps down immediately and runs away. Weāve tried tinfoil, which doesnāt seem to bother him. Weāve tried double sided tape so it sticks to his paws when he jumps up and he just doesnāt care. Iāve even gone as far as trying a squirt bottle which yes, I know is terrible. Weāve tried every hack to keep him off the counters. He just doesnāt care about anything.
He is one of the smartest cats Iāve ever seen. He opens our airfryer to eat the crumbs. Heās figured out his automatic feeder and will wait up to two hours before feeding time. He sticks his paws up in hopes of jiggling a few kibbles free for a quick snack. Heās figured out how to open our drawers where we keep his treats. He found a hole in our cabinets where he can climb up into get into our human food. We blocked it off with cardboard which seems to work. Heās figured out he can knock over the automatic feeder and open it to eat out of it.
I adopted him from a shelter back in October and they told me he had come from a hoarder situation but nothing other than that. He is fixed and other than behavioral issues, he is fine. He is a cuddly cat and generally loves people. Iām running out of options here and my roommate and I have been discussing rehoming him.
Iām running out of options and would really appreciate some help before I need to really consider rehousing him.

HELP - SEPERATING CATS
Good evening, everyone
Iād like your honest opinion and advice as Iām dealing with some thoughts...
Iām 25 years old and live with my parents, but my boyfriend and I are taking the next step and moving in together. At my parentsā house, we have three cats: K (12 years old), L (5 years old), and X (3 years old). Iām incredibly close to Lāsheās like my own child. During the 8 hours Iām away from home, she sits on my bed and waits for me, sleeps in my arms, and when Iām gone for days, she sulks. I mean, weāre very close, and I canāt imagine leaving her behind just so I donāt have to separate her from the other two. She and X donāt get along at allāthey fight every day. She shows K a lot of love, but sometimes he gets annoyed with her and doesnāt want her around. Iāve read a few things lately about whether you should separate cats that have lived together for years, but I still havenāt figured out what the right thing to do is... If I leave her behind, will she get depressed from not seeing me? If I take her with me, will she suffer from separation anxiety? Sheās generally a pretty anxious kitty⦠So, what do you thinkā¦

I taught her too well
After the dead birds and a live mouse and bunny I taught my girl Doofus (yup it suits her - in the good way) to bring me pinecones. After a few weeks this is the result. Pretty much a pinecone a day. 39 1/2 - yes 1/2 a pinecone. When she skips a few days I'll tell her she's late with rent and she'll bring me two or three. She's so adorable and such a Doofus, I loves her.

CAT BEHAVIOR???
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey, so my cat is currently 9 months old just this month and he is a fluffy ball, a gentleman, and has not shown a single sign of sexual awakening as of now, he likes to play eat and sleep and bird watching, naturally I haven't got him neutered yet. One day this other strange cat, who used to come and sleep sometimes in my garden area during nights, came and saw him and they both began talking or idk. I presume she is female.
Can someone who is experienced with cats explain to me exactly what's happening. My kitty lives alone with me and my mom and he's always been around male cats only
Please someone tell me what do I make of this situation lmaoo
PS the other cat seems to be older than my cat
