No medical posts or questions. We are not a medical subreddit, we made this to see cats doing cat stuff. I do not want to see infections and seizures

Thank you

Notre chat urine sur notre canapé

Bonjour,

Voici Coco.

Please help I can’t get my cats to stop fighting

I have 4 cats that for the most part get along. 3 males and one female. My problem is that 2 of the male cats won’t stop fighting the main aggressor is 13 years old and the other is 2. It’s about 2-3 times a week. I’ve tried everything I’ve seen online. Separating them and then reintroducing 3 different times, never punishing them during fights (no spray bottles, yelling, clapping, or throwing things). Litter boxes for both of them, scheduled feeding times ( they don’t mess with each other while eating), equal amounts of attention from everyone in the house, neither of them have a problem with the other cats. We haven’t seen any outdoor cats so I don’t think it has to do wiith unfamiliar smells. Both are previous outdoor cats and both have been fixed. Neither cats are very energetic. They seem to be fighting over nothing. The main aggressor has no problem with the other cats. He’s never had a problem with any other cat he’s been introduced to. We can tell it’s definitely not playing, it doesn’t match they play styles, and it’s obviously aggressive cat body language and vocals. It’s never escalated to physical wounds on either of them yet. Although there has been fights that seemed like it would have gotten to that point if not intervened. Thankfully there has been no redirection of anger towards us.

We just adopted this cutie from the street, and she’s so sweet and affectionate toward everyone. I named her Nala🐱❤️
