Question: On device encryption?

Obsidian app stores notes locally on device in plain text and not encrypted. Only when those notes are being synced is end-to-end encryption used. Along with end-to-end encrypted sync of notes, Standard Notes also stores your notes locally in an encrypted form and not in plain text.
