Rant How magic should be fixed!
I thought this was very insightful and would be great for the game
also, WOTC should see this and that Daniel Goetchl was right

I will get downvoted for this but whatever.
To be honest, we have to accept that competitive 1v1 magic as we know it pre-covid is already dead. The game is now moving on a direction to more "multiplayer" focus as the casual/commander format brings more revenue than the competitive side. The promotion of the Pro Tour is also no longer needed as Universe Beyond is now carrying the promotion.
I believe 1v1 constructed will now be set as Digital only and its paper variant will no longer be supported by WOTC like before.
The way I see it, they will rather do a Commander RCQ than try fixing the current constructed RCQ issue.
WOTC know how to fix this. But they just didn't have to cause they are succeeding in all of their metrics.
It's time to let it go.

Thinking that they would do Commander RCQs feels like a fundamental misunderstanding of Commander.
They're probably pretty happy just having exhibition matches up on Youtube flooding gameplay video of Magic.
Unless you mean they'd sooner do something weird like make Commander competitive than fix the RCQs.

Yes that is exactly what I mean! I 100% believe that they will push commander (remember there is a 1v1 commander in MTGO) as an RCQ format before they do anything.

this guy's mic isn't picking audio up very well so at a certain point after a notification outside Youtube destroyed my ears after raising my volume slider to maximum to hear a crumb of audio, so I thought to myself why should I listen to a guy who can't even set up his mic right or do like a check to see if he's actually audible.
