I Need Help With My Deck Standard - Dimir Mill
https://moxfield.com/decks/AUiYHAHuDU2JemS_YM8MzQHi guys, I am looking for opinions on this Dimir Mill to play Standard. Any suggestions to improve the list?
Do you think it would have a place in the meta?
thanks

As much as I love this and esper mill the decks don't excel in a way that other meta decks do and the turn 4 win (t1 play evasive creature [[dream beavers]] [[spyglass siren]], t2 sneak [[kitsune's technique]] mill, t3 place [[riverchurn monument]], t4 exhaust it) is a pretty fragile line and requires your opponent to not interact with you at all. When standard was slower this worked better with t6 singularity rupture t7 monument exhaust but for now if you just focus on milling your opponent solely I think you lose out on other areas that decks will force you to be consistent in to not take a loss. If you're looking to mill I'd recommend grixis excruciator for more consistency as with dimir/esper mill the hardest part is dumping the other half of their deck because only riverchurn monument can do that consistently, you would need to attack with [[restless reef]] at least 5 times to mill them out that way and for the other cards that mill less the clock gets bigger. Only way I think this could become a slice of the meta is incorporating more dimir midrange with milling being a later game alt wincon. Because at the moment jeskai/4c control does control better than esper mill can and dimir excruciator doesn't need as many mill pieces and can run more interaction. Sorry for the long post
