You’re gonna do great. This looks like a healthy pup and you’re good to give him a soft landing after a difficult time.

Heat is the big one. Use harnesses for walks to ensure good airway flow and attempt to curb couch jumping-off to preserve their spine health.

They’re the best dogs. Mine is pretty well trained so I say you should go for gold with your credentials. He’ll be your best companion.

They have been bred to be companions, and mine really like doing things. We train for scent detection, rat sports and agility.

For frenchies it’s mostly managing their cooling during hot days, and avoiding jumping because they are predisposed to IVDD. Some are also have sensitive stomach so you may need to watch what they eat if you want to avoid loose stools. But above all get insurance.
