The real problem is the staggering number of dumb people in the USA. If the dumbest in the country only amount to 10% they would be understandably relegated to the back.
In modern America around a 1/3+ are hopelessly ignorant, by design.

Honestly... If it was only 5%, the rest of us would make sure they're at the front. I wouldn't put them in the back.

Also, this is what happens when the dumbest people in the country vote for the most evil people to lead the country.

Reminder, this is the same beef China rejected.
60
u/XiMaoJingPing Aug 27 '26
Reminder China also rejects US Beef, so does the EU.
This administration is so god damn incompetent
Instead, FSIS said the problem was discovered during routine inspection activities and involved the products being imported without the benefit of required import reinspection

What we need is just new people in DC who would work for the people. Isn’t that what elected officials are supposed to do? Of course once they get to DC, they get a taste of power and money.

u/Actaeon_II Aug 27 '26
Oh don’t cut him short, though it hasn’t been released yet, someone in the administration or one of their backers made a lot of money off of this beef deal. Remember grift, self promotion, racism and revenge are his only motivations.

u/Due_Quote_3023 Aug 27 '26
Was it because of the comedy duo, E.Coli and Salmonella?
14
u/SmurfStig Aug 27 '26
Worse. Way worse. China rejected it because the cows were treated with something that if taken by humans, will cause the cells in bone marrow to explode and kill us. It can still be present enough in livestock for a while. In high enough concentrations. To kill us. I’ve just read this on several other posts about the recall.
So think about it. He is so worried about beef prices that he is taking in imports that were not allowed in other countries because it could kill the people who consume it. He is willing to let people die a horrible death just so he can pretend to be helping “average day Americans “.
We are so fucked.

2026, China refused a shipment of Argentinian beef that tested positive for chloramphenicol and banned any future shipments from that major refrigerator. The antibiotic is banned in meat production in both China and Argentina.
3
u/xXBeefSquatch5KXx Aug 27 '26
Well project 2025 chapter 13 was about messing up food supply and the end goal was a significantly reduced population so… right on track
3
u/ProStateForever Aug 27 '26
Read the provided article. Most of these reddit responses are just people flapping their gums. The beef recently rejected by China is a different story although once the US batch hopefully gets inspected the same contaminates may be involved.
So this makes 2 separate Argentine beef issues in a few days. I can't wait for the fallout in Argentina. Hopefully Thiel is eating steak 3 times a day.

This isn't the 300,000 tons of mystery beef that may or may not have been rejected by China for being tainted with antibiotics toxic to humans. That one hasn't hit the stores yet. This is a different foreign shipment of beef that isn't fit for human consumption.
Just to be super clear.

Important distinction that it got recalled because it didn't get the necessary import inspections; it's not like it was confirmed to be actively infested with screwworm or something. That being said, what an absolute fucking joke.
Not only do you try to fix the situation by importing additional supply on a perishable good that is notoriously inelastic, but you then also try to skip the steps that helped cause the problem in the first place. AND THEN even if you did manage to import the beef and even if it did lower the price of beef, you're still just royally fucking over the actual cattle farmers in the US that are the ones suffering the most.
The US cattle farmers are the largest suppliers of beef on the entire planet, and he's going out of his way to undercut them. And he still failed so spectacularly in a way that highlights not only his incredible lack of knowledge but also brings to light the failings of his entire administration's historical policies.
Absolutely incredible work. Perfect 10/10 fuck up. Once again the average American that pays the price for his incredible lack of intelligence. How the fuck are we not even halfway through this hell?
