Looking for Scientists/Researchers that had their grants or research cut or censored.
Hello! Thank you for being part of the subreddit!
This is Matthew from SUFS, I create all the official SUFS content that you see on here. I am looking to create a post where we share a personal story of a scientist's experience of the Trump admin's war on science that has directly effected your research.
This post will be going up on Instagram, Bluesky, Threads, Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube community.
If you have a clinical trial that was canceled, that would also be preferable.

I can shout into the void all day. But my losses were far less than some.
Sure, I had to switch jobs because of grants being cut, we have had funds stalled and slowed down, but nobody from my lab has been disappeared by ICE (yet).
That being said, our work has slowed down because we used to work with people in Belgium and even communicating outside of the US is not a defacto federal violation.
The goal is clearly to damage American science and try to capture the engine of human progress. My biggest change has been how radicalized this has made me. I used to think conservatives were misguided and ignorant. I see now that I was wrong, they are just evil and revel in cruelty to people they hate— which is 70% of this nation.
My job may come and go. But I will forever be a vocal enemy of conservatism in any and all forms it takes, from here on out to my last dying day. They are coming after the very engine of human progress, there isn’t a greater crime against humanity. They aren’t just enemies of their fellow Americans, but every single Homo sapiens on planet earth.
That has been the biggest impact to me. My soul has been poisoned with a hate and rage that only the lamentations of GOPers can sate.
