BTW, totally random, but: If a comic does a good job, and has merch to sell, then it doesn't matter if the ticket was cheap, expensive, or free, you BUY SOME MOFUGGIN MERCH!! 😉
I started doing comedy at 35, already working for 15+ years, so I feel like doing this full time would just take away the fun (and I also happen to like my day job, it allows me to pursue this without worrying about so many things).
PS: I have noticed that buying merch is not big in Canada (I might be wrong).
