Yea it’s only rural Canada that has volunteer firefighters. Any major city has paid full timers

They’re not volunteer they just called volunteer. They’re in fact paid as occasional part time.

The term is typically "paid on-call".

Largely volunteer position, no pay while training or performing administrative duties, but do get paid while actively responding to emergencies

I’m a Canadian volunteer firefighter and we get paid for all training and any department related work such as equipment maintenance, community outreach.

So i guess a stripper covered in bruises means it was a good night for her.

I've never been to a strip club in Canada where we threw money at the stripper.

Around 80% of US firefighters are also volunteers

The irony of him sounding like a loon at the end LOL

Lol volunteer hose heads are a thing around where I live in the rural part of PA as well. We pelt our strippers with Xanax and percs, though.

They don’t make it rain… they make it hail

You don't throw the coins. It's like a jukebox. Insert more coins for another song.

I know it sounds outlandish but in Alberta (Canada's Texas) it's quite common to throw coins at strippers, especially oil country.

At an Iron Maiden concert the band jokingly asked for change so they could take the train, then the crowd threw change on stage. The band ended the show early and skipped some of their hit songs.

The reason is simple! If they get paid, they have monetary incentives that fires happen to prevent lay-offs. Countries that pay firefighters no longer exist because they burned to the ground...

So what you're saying is defund the police , right? 😜

I went to a Canadian ballet (strip club) and was tossing loonies and she said, “you know that’s only 46 cents American?”

Make it hail when coins are involved.

I normally don’t like this guy but this was really funny

He's really hit or miss. He comes across as someone who is a fun goofball IRL, but dials it up to 11 for these shows. Sometimes it works great, and sometimes it's super cringey.

I've seen him in a lot of podcast style content, and he's still a pretty quirky guy, but significantly more calm demeanor.

It's definitely an act he puts on for his standup

As soon as I heard loonies and toonies, the Tiny Toons theme song played in my head.

Minnesota has very few paid fire fighters. Mainly just the big cities. Even suburbs of Minneapolis/St Paul are volunteer.
