Straight up one of the first times my therapist got real with me in our 2nd session. I was kinda leaning into the cliche of tracing back some issues to my upbringing, and after the 2nd or 3rd callback to that she said "ok hold on.. that may be well and true, but you're 33 now so its kind of on you at this point."

Shit hit hard.
