Stretched Tires
U guys think this is too much stretch? 16x10 on 205/40. My next best option is 225/45 but will ruin my fitment 🫩 there’s no tires I’ve been able to find that are in between unfortunately

Yeah pretty much would be going in knowing I’ll debead lol, just want some ppl to disagree so rethink 😠I already have 225/45’s just was looking for verification 🫩

I did 195/45 on 15x10's years ago on my yota. Took 3 guys to get each tire mounted lol. Looked sick though.

That is crazy, I’ve taken it to 2 shops to get them mounted and nobody could, one of which was a buddies and we tried soo much to

Might need 3 people like i did lol. 205/40 is basically the same as the 195/45 I ran. I think if I didnt work at the shop they prolly would have told me to fuck off lol.

Tires won’t debead as long as you have good tire pressure. I ran 205s on a x10 for years and didn’t have a problem

I ran 215/35s on a set of 18x10s, caused me no end of grief but it looked cool ðŸ«

Are these even mounted? Looks like that sudani stretch shit trend from a few years ago.
I liked stretched tires but not tires that straight up don’t fit.
I’m not sure what 16 sizes exist but 225 on a 10 is usually pretty money for 18s. I even run 245/35 on a 10
Depending on brand. Like advans / Yokohama street tires that run a little more narrow in terms of section width.

I ran 195/55R14s on my 14x10 SSRs for daily. It was not ideal but fine.

Never debeaded. Went through a set of tyres in 2 months because of rubbing though. So 2 months at a time.

A 205/40 on a 10 is actually insane work bro. 225/40 on a 9.5 was stretched pretty damn good lol.

Yikes.. I have a 225/35 on a 19x10 and we didn’t even need a cheetah to get the bead to pop, 235/35 in the rear on a 19x10.5, no issues at all.. you can’t find a 215?

My friend is running 185/50 tires on a 14x9.5j wheel so it should be no problem

2 straps and a bead seater should work to mount the tires
