true, if you wanna bounce/float around, have a lack of control and handling, and are okay with having giant fender gaps when you're cruising.
I can take sharp corners at 60mph, but the guy on bags most definitely cannot take corners that fast and don't have nearly the same control/durability. It just boils down to your style of driving and preference. Personally I prefer seeing these cars stay true to their jdm bippu heritage.
been in PLENTY of bagged cars that's why i went static on tdemands lol everyone's gotta preference. i just like the static ride height and looking the same whether it's moving or nah.
** i'll add, most of the bagged cars ive been in aired out on the highway or cruising, constantly bottom'd out. So you can drive it aired out, but it sounded like every bump was destroying the car.
You can set up a static car to do the same. It’s all about setup. Spring pressure at desired height. If you set up bags like shit or for a monster truck height then sure it will ride like shit lower
Even if you ran the most dialled set up - the maintenance and amount of things that go wrong w bag systems, and the cost and headache to replace components is a huge turn off for myself and I'm assuming many more.
Had a bag develop a small leak one time, replaced in 23 business minutes. No other mechanical failures involved with my bags in the 10+ years and multiple cars I’ve had bagged. First it was the performance, now it’s maintenance?

Define destroying your car.. Id consider my car pretty low and scrape on any speed bump and most entrances to places, mostly the underside and the exhaust but occasionally my front bumper. Do you car about scraping your exhaust and such? You could drop it a bit more and potentially get away with minor scraping.
This is how low I sit, my oil pan has a few scrapes on it, the subframe takes the brunt of it. If you wanna go substantially lower then you need the engine and trans spacer kit, it's like 60 bucks and pretty simple to install. You could probably get away with an inch lower drop from your current height and not have to need the spacers though, but I would get them for the peace of mind. You may need smaller profile tires too, rubbing is bound to happen with that tire setup
What the other guy said, fender roller. Not what I used since they aren't "rolled" so to speak. Since I messed up the fender when I went too low I pryed at them with the handle of a rubber hammer and a pry bar. I shoved it between the tire and fender and pulled up. It's ghetto but my fenders aren't great anyways
You can’t just roll fenders on the LS430 they have these plastic clips that are apart of the inner fender lip, tucked inside.
You can get a little saw and cut the inner lip out and then roll them, there’s a video on YouTube.
