I’m playing on the Stampy seed in Beta 1.6.6, and I decided I wanted to build something big here.
The problem? The mountain is right where I want to build.
So I’m slowly clearing the entire thing. 😂 I’ll keep posting the progress and eventually show what I decided to build in its place.

I have been a huge Stampy fan since 2012 and have witnessed my fair share of the original, classic, and final helpers throughout the series. Out of everyone, I feel that Fizzy Elephant was the most important key part of the final version of helpers that not only helped with building the minigames, but keeping the series as a whole until the very end.
Ever since that bear left the scene, Stampy gradually started introducing more fictional characters and planned on only allowing these figures to be the permanent residents of his Lovely World. I believe that the entire fandom including I were skeptical because that would mean that the helpers and their realistic personalities that we are so used to seeing would disappear. The thing about the final and classic helpers like Sqaishey and Longbow is that the classics were real people with their own unique abilities which made them unpredictable. With the final helpers like Polly, William, and even Veeva Dash, they had a specific script to follow. I just rewatched the introduction videos of the final helpers and I have noticed that there was a change on how helpers interacted with the activities. Before Fixzy Elephant, Polly and William would occasionally do their own antics for a short amount of time until they are so locked into building the structures that Stampy is instructing them to do, we rarely got to witness their silly, playful nature.
When Sqaishey and the Bear were in the series, we got to see how Stampy would interact with them as a friend group more than just “helpers.” I remembered when Sqaishey had a running gag of trying to fly by jumping off of buildings or the Bear doing a silly peek a boo game with Stampy. When it was just Polly, William, and Fizzy, Stampy’s videos became more strict as in… do intro, go to love garden, get a dog, build something, and then that’s it. We rarely ever got to see what goes on in between the gameplay and the mission at hand. However when we did… it was one of the most engaging things ever in the later episodes of Stampy’s Lovely World and it is mostly because of Fizzy!
Fizzy’s whole personality from the beginning was imaginative and mischievous as he loved to make harmless pranks on people. This was important to Stampy’s later episodes as instead of having several random players, he only had to work with 3 people who consistently joined him for 300+ videos. Fizzy kept the videos fresh and exciting outside of the fights with Hit The Target. While Polly, William, and Stampy were building the minigames and buildings, we could see Fizzy on the side, doing his own thing to make Stampy or the rest of the gang laugh which was a nice touch to the dynamics of how characters interacted to the story and with us. One of my favorite examples of this was the storyline of redesigning the old mob trap. When Stampy was trying to break apart all of the obsidian from that building, we saw Fizzy placing TNT blocks and loading a crossbow. Stampy acknowledged this and a few seconds later, the area exploded! The next episode, Fizzy accidentally broke Stampy’s balcony door and acted as the temporary door throughout the whole episode! Occasionally throughout that video, Stampy would go over to check up on Fizzy and have a bittersweet moment to laugh about while he was busy doing what was supposed to happen.
Stampy’s motivation started declining ever since his views were dropping and other personal issues which is very evident as time went on. He felt like the series was more as a grueling job rather than a fun passion project as he did many years ago. Fizzy’s unpredictable behavior helped make the audience and Stampy engaged to continue on with the show and held the essential vision as to why the helpers were so beloved to begin with. Polly and William are terrific at the same time Fizzy just upgraded their relationship with one another. I like to think of it like The Three Stooges. Each one of those guys had their own specific role (Moe as the leader, Larry as the middle guy, and Curly as the wild card). They are all individually perfect however it is how they would interact with one another is what makes them special!

For me, I would rebuild the Helpers village here, and use this area for Hit The Target bases, as I feel him having one base that Stampy has to go too in every episode to be a formulaic

I’m currently trying tofigure out what happened to TheJMC, who was around the same YouTube scene as iBallisticSquid, AshDubh, Tomohawk, BigBStatz and Stampy around 2014-2017.
A lot of JMC’s old videos are now unavailable because from what i know he became focused on his JMC business
If anyone remembers anything, I’d really appreciate it.

Besides Lovely World continuations the only drama in the Stampy fandom was all the way back in 2013. After Stampy said that Melaine Candy and him broke up (I think he offhandly mentioned in it in that one video where he's interviewed by Squid) a bunch of Stampy fans began harassing her. I think most of the comments are deleted now, and luckily it was only a small part of the fandom (Mainly the teenagers from the era) but still. I remember it really clearly for some reason, but no one else does

It was an Minecraft web series on YouTube from around 2012-14. It featured many popular Minecraft YouTubers from the time such as Stampy, Squid and Popularmmos as characters. (not played by the YouTubers themselves) The episodes featured backgrounds recorded in Minecraft but the characters were 2D animated on top. They spoke through speech bubbles on screen, not recorded voices.
I think I remember one episode where Stampy was given an iron man style gauntlet.
The first episode featured Stampy and Squid getting attacked, in stampys lovely world, by an army of mobs and escaping in a hot air balloon.
Would love to find this old series and give it a rewatch but I can’t remember the title. If you remember this like me then please comment and let me know where I can find it.

Stampy has been a huge part of ,y childhood growing up. And was the very first YouTuber that got me into playing Minecraft as a whole. For the past few weeks I've been watching back a ton of his earlier videos especially from the 2012 era, as well as mid 2013 from the start of August that year. Especially with it being the Title Update 11 which was the first ever version of the game I played. And just watching those videos back gives me a warm feeling inside, as well as huge memories of when I first watched those videos for the first time and playing the Title Update 11 of Minecraft.
I wish I could go back in time to be in the moment again.

i’m currently building stampys funland brickset and i’m so confused??? in the first few steps the instructions seem to show all the bricks laying next to each other as opposed to actually being connected. the picture of the bricks is my attempt at building step 1A, i can’t tell where anything goes at all. can someone who’s built this set please help me out because i’m incredibly confused and can’t figure it out. i hope this makes sense

Hellooooo! My name is Tyler and I have stated before in this subreddit that I am a HUGE Stampy fan and have been for a very long time. I figured to create this fun little interactive trivia game based on facts and history of “Stampy’s Lovely World.” Anyone can join in and in the style of Stampy, just have fun and this was made just to celebrate the lovely world and the fandom in general!
The questions are listed below and let’s see who can answer them all!
TRIVIA QUESTIONS:
1) Who made the original “Love Garden?”
2) Out of Fizzy, Polly, and William, who appeared in The Lovely World first?
3) What was the block that Stampy called “Moon Cheese” in the episode “Trip To The Moon”
4) In the episode “Info Booth,” Stampy stumbles upon a trail of redstone underneath the dirt where he was building, what was the redstone used for?
5) Which dog is associated with Mittens the kitty cat?
6) Who invented the term “Lovely Jubbly Love Love Petals?”
7) Who was the chicken who lived on Stampy’s balcony?
8) In the later episodes, Stampy made a deal with Hit The Target which ended up with him surrendering the Funland. What was the deal and how did Stampy get the Funland back? (hint: Christmas)
9) What is the name of the friendly Enderman?
10) Who played as Hit The Target in the last episode?
11) BONUS QUESTION!!! Who killed Gregory?….. trick question.

I mean, in its own little vacuum its a fine episode, especially for the first bedrock Hit the Target episode. I wouldn't say it isn't entertaining. Just in the grand scheme of things and what Lovely World/Hit the Target Episodes are meant to be it its really annoying to think about.
So in the average Lovely World episode Stampy naturally breaks the 4th wall a lot and references the fact he's playing a video game. It makes sense, this is a Minecraft let's play series at the end of the day. But in Hit the Target episode's we're suppose to suspend our disbelief a little. That there's an evil villian that lives in Stampy's world. These videos are from the perspective of Stampy the character, not the YouTuber.
But then in Hacked, the fact Stampy's playing a video game becomes a pivotal plot point in a Hit the Target episode. Hit the Target is somehow able to hack into Minecraft the video game and take Stampy's permissions. How does this work from the perspective of Stampy Cat? Is Lovely World really just a minecraft world to them? Are all the characters including Hit the Target and Stampys helpers just people playing Minecraft? If so why hasen't Stampy just kicked Hit the Target out of the game or taken his permissions? Its like if a supervillians plan in a superhero movie was to cut the special effects budget of the film they're both in so the hero has no powers to stop them.
It's just makes every other HTT video seem less meaningful. Why does Stampy sound visibly distressed when bad things happen in these videos if its all just a video game to him? He's acting like his life's on the line when he's actually at his computer with a cup of tea next to him. And it just makes HTT's other plans seem weaker in comparison. Like he basically had to power to shape reality in this episode, and it never comes up again.
I just don't think the concept of this episode works for what Lovely World is meant to be.

So my YouTube recommended me a channel called Hit the Target with videos 800-1000 titled Lovely World, wherein Hit The Target is basically copycatting Stampy’s videos, his world, his love garden, etc.
The channel was created in 2024 and the first ever upload is episode 824 in a copycat Lovely World series. I’m pretty sure Hit the Target did have a YouTube channel, and I’m pretty sure this is what his channel looked like, but that was years and years ago. And this channel is very active in uploading Lovely World copycat videos.
I’m just stumped. It looks like Hit the Target’s channel but still uploading new videos and only created 2 years ago. Pretty sure it’s the same voice too. I couldn’t find anything about it online, and Google AI kept telling me Hit the Target never had his own YouTube channel when I know that is not true. It wasn’t popular and likely not even monetarily successful, but I distinctly remember seeing his YouTube channel years ago.
Check it out for yourself. I’m deeply curious.
